Let's talk music ! πŸ–€πŸŽ΅

Many people , myself included use music as a therapy for many reasons : depression, anxiety, panic attacks, loneliness, break-ups etc.

music can be very therapeutic, music can relax you , music can help you understand emotions , music is something people can relate to.

music is obviously a very important part of my life .
music has helped me make it through some very hard times . I do not play music , I listen to music . I strictly only sing in the shower :P

what about you ?

is there any songs that help you through a hard time ? What song ?

are you musical ?

do you play instruments?

do you sing?

how has music impacted your life ?

very curious to read answers and possibly listen to some of the songs posted .

wishing everyone a great day !

@orangePerson3618

I personally do like rap music . I feel it has some of the greatest , strongest emotions of all music .
Absolutely some is considered "violent" ..to me though .. how I see it is ; it captures peoples feelings and thoughts ..it's raw , it's real and I like that .

@rainyMusic5276 well i use music to help me get to sleep, i have different playlists for each mood. sometimes when i feel happy and i want to sing i connect my youtube to the tv and listen to what ever song plays but i only do this when im home alone. i tend to listen to my sad playlist so often i listen to it to help me fall asleep, to help me concentrate because its quite chill. im trying to listen to more music as most of the music i get is from tiktok so if you have any suggestions im all ear.

@rainyMusic5276 Yay what an awesome thread.

I absolutely love music!!! ❀️ It is one of the best parts of life I think and my life would be empty and dull without it. I listen to music every single day without fail. I find there's always a song which will make my day brighter and me more positive πŸ™‚

The song which helps me through the hardest times is Walking On The Milky Way by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark - definitely look it up, it's such a feel good song πŸ™ƒ

Yes I am very musical. In the past I've done musical plays. I sing daily (it's my job) and I play a few different instruments, guitar, drums, piano and organ, flute, harmonica and the saxophone 🎷

Music became a huge part of my life after my mum died. I found it took me away from the horribleness I was going through every day. It then became a fun pastime for me and now also is my work as well. It's a huge part of my life and I love it πŸ’•

I like listening to music for almost everything from riding on the bus to going to sleep. It makes my life feel so colourful even when it doesnt feel like it. I personally love musicals, especially Hamilton. It makes me feel better if Im having a bad day. I also personally play the piano.
