Appreciation: Those Underrated Listeners
Hey there - thanks for reading this post :P I wanted to talk about something today and also invite you guys to appreciate those underrated listeners.
When I say Underrated Listeners, I'm not referring to those who only have 4 stars or 4.5 or whatever, that's not what I'm getting at.
What I'm getting at are those people who stretch their timetables to fit in 7 cups, to take up projects and roles to give back to this wonderful community, those people who welcome, appreciate, lead discussions, moderate forums, mentor listeners, lead mentors, take up huge roles, balance their time, self-care, listen to people on 7 cups, and more.
Those underrated listeners who don't get appreciated enough. You know these people from the top of your head - perhaps they're someone who has helped you write a forum discussion. Or perhaps you missed a discussion that you had to lead and the support team leader was understanding and helped you make amends and reschedule. Or perhaps your intern buddy reminded you to fill in the weekly evaluation form as you forgot last week's. Or, perhaps, you just completed a training and the person who lead the training was very helpful. Or maybe, someone appreciated and welcomed you today and it made your day. Or even, someone who's always helping people out in TL and LSR, or a moderator who always fixes things in the most resilient way.
Whether it's someone matching any of the above criteria, you know that these people help the community in various ways and they're so, so underrated and need a pack on the back (and perhaps a smore or a cookie), so let's appreciate these underrated listeners, yeah?
Let me start with a few!
@Erato - For always having the answer to things, helping out with TL, answering questions about internship, answering questions from me about the mentor stuff D: xD <3 being wonderfully welcoming, supplying unlimited supply of pizza, always having something nice to say, helping out with many subcommunities and projects, being an amazingly resilient and funny, yet completely human wonderful girl :3
@Cherm - Being such a great DS Feed Team member, replying within 12 hours, always there to help and actively participate, being a hugely great role model in around the world subcommunity, being super active, reaching milestones, openly supporting members in group support and 1-1 chats, starting up and working on projects early on, taking the initiative to learn, and also reaching the milestone of AL1+2 passing really early on, hooray!
@Hope - Always there to answer questions in LSR (and has the answer to like, everything :P), making the nickname 'Mashmy' for me xD, helping out with internship really actively, always giving me mentoring, reaching loads of milestones, being able to have an.. interest in business, watching out for me to make sure I don't burn out, and being really funny and professional at the same time.
I encourage you to shoutout to people too!
@MarshmaIIows, Thank you! much appreciated, just a correction having an interest in business is awesome, you get money and passion, what else do you need in life other than coffee of course but money buys coffee so it's all good. I like the idea of shout-outs a lot so I am gonna give some shout-outs but this time specifically to the Intern Mentors who really cooperated while all the changes of Internships were made and pitched in every manner they could. So here is a shout-out to @Power, @TerryTee and @Racat
@Hope aww thank you so much for the shout out!
My shout out goes for all the great Community Mentor Leaders that we have in 7Cups. These people are working hard to ensure that everything goes smoothly in our rooms, forum, and feed, they are dealing with lots of background issues that are usually not be seen in the community and they are giving lots of energy and time to make their areas just great - thank you all for all you do

I always love to see you replying on needs reply and new threads, you explain things very well! ❤ You're so sweet and lovely! I like your personality. Stay awesome! c: also, @Hope and @Cherm are close to my heart too! 😊
@MarshmaIIows omg thanks so much I just got here for almost 2 months and was still not really familiar with people/ roles/ projects here, without you I will never get to understand so much about this big family of 7 cups. It is so nice to have you in my listener journey and I hope that I will be able to contribute more to 7 cups. You know I am not really good at words but my actions will show my appreciation.
So I would like to give shoutout to my twinny @Erato for always being there answering my stupid questions xD and chatting with me :33
Shout-out to the other fellow Community Advocate Leader, @Alex
