💬✨Celebrate the Good: Weekly Check-In & Welcome!✨💬
Hey, wonderful community!
Welcome to a brand new week filled with endless possibilities and bright moments! We’re so grateful to have each and every one of you here in our vibrant community, whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time!
✨ Let’s brighten the day with a check-in! How’s everyone feeling? Here are a few questions to help us shine together:
- What’s a small win you celebrated that brought you joy?
- Who in your life has inspired you lately and how?
- What small act of kindness have you experienced or given recently?
- How do you plan to practice self-care this week?
Let’s inspire one another and spread that good energy! I can’t wait to hear your updates and celebrate all the positivity we create as a community! 💖🌻
Here’s to a week overflowing with love, light and life!
With all my heart,
Phoenix
1. What’s a small win you celebrated that brought you joy?
I guess it wouldn't be considered a win necessarily since anyone can get accepted, but I just recently got accepted in QLP and just need to finish my chat hours to graduate. :) Super excited!
2. Who in your life has inspired you lately and how?
My aunt-in-law. She's a strong, determined, loving, hardworking woman who always cares for others around her. I'm inspired by her because she doesn't let age stop her and she's kind hearted. ♡
3. What small act of kindness have you experienced or given recently?
I am an introvert and antisocial and missed a gathering despite my family going and she sent home a plate of oxtails just for me. Her act of kindness by sending my husband and kids home that plate for me really touched my heart. I didn't show up but was still thought of.
4. How do you plan to practice self-care this week?
I'm going to catch up on my 😴 sleep and do the bare minimum of chats of this week. 🤣 Sleeping just sounds best for me.
@YourCaringConfidant Congratulations for getting accepted:D
Your aunt-in-law sounds awesome, people with strong and kind soul are very special<3 Hope you have a great week and a good rest!
@BlueDarkAurora Thanks for your sweet comment. It made me smile. Hope you have a wonderful day! <3
@YourCaringConfidant
That’s definitely a win worth celebrating and I’m sure you’ll do great!
Your aunt-in-law sounds like a truly amazing person! And sending you that plate of oxtails! Little gestures like that remind us how much we’re valued, even when we can’t be there in person.
And catching up on sleep? That sounds like the ultimate self-care retreat! Sometimes, the best thing we can do is snuggle up and recharge our batteries.
Wishing you a fantastic week ahead filled with joy and relaxation!

Today, I remind myself of the many challenging times I’ve had to endure in my three decades on this planet. Many of them could have been avoided... if my parents hadn't... if my school hadn’t... if my classmates had... if I had been... a different person. But it happened the way it did, and there's no point in dwelling on “ifs” and “could haves.” I know my life unfolded in a difficult way: ambivalent support, loneliness, an unstable home... but with loving parents, cats and dogs, music, and movies at night. No rainbows without the rain, as they say.
After many years of therapy and self-work, I’ve reached a point where I can look back and realize that I could have been a completely different person... but perhaps, in that case, I would have struggled more to feel empathy for other people’s problems. Now, I truly believe I’ve lived through so many experiences that I can sincerely put myself in other people's shoes. I also have developed a deep patience for others' processes, because I know, from my own experience, how hard it is to change— even when you truly want to, or need to.
I am grateful for the rough path I’ve walked. I still have a long way to go to become the therapist I aspire to be, but in the meantime, I will try to share what I’ve learned and support those in need.
