An initiative to revive and relive 7cups Treasure Forum Posts!
Why are we reviving:
There are so many treasure posts that have been made in the more than 8 years journey of 7cups so far and our present generation of 7cups could benefit a lot from reading those old and golden posts. Treasure needs to be dug and put in use, right?
What posts we revive:
We revive posts older than one year.
We revive posts with more than 50 points. Point System: 1 upvote in the main thread post = 1 point, 1 short positive reply (about the main thread post) = 5 points, 1 elaborate positive reply (more than two lines about the main thread post) = 10 points.
We revive posts about specific skills only. For example, this post about de-escalating conflict could be revived.
How do we revive:
We outreach in PM to our 7cups peers; could be any member or listener. And invite them to read and reply to our selected forum post. This is how our outreach message sounds: Hi __! I am here to invite you to an activity. As part of the 'From 7cups Forums Treasure Trove' initiative, we look to revive some of the old valuable 7cups forum posts by reading them and posting a reply in them (this makes those posts more visible in the community). Would you be interested in this activity? - If they show interest, we invite them to read and reply in our selected treasure forum post.
After they participate, we ask our peers if they might like to subscribe to be invited every week to read and reply to a newly selected treasure post.
Our subscriber list continues to rise every week this way!
Those peers who did not show interest are added to our DND (Do not Disturb) list and we do not bother them about our initiative.
How can you help:
You can suggest the posts to revive by leaving the link of a forum post with 50+ points (read the above-described point system) in the below thread.
