I understand that you may feel a bit dreadful about adulting, but sometimes we need to get through stuffs in life, no matter that is something you want or not ._. You know at that point, we may feel sad, frustrated or overwhelmed, but when we look back at what we have gone through in our life, they may all seem to be something small. And that is because we have gone through and faced them, so be proud of yourself to become an adult :P

I understand that growing up can be a scary experience, people say a lot of things to you when you are close to 18 sharing how hard adult life is, its pros and cons but I want you to know that this change is inevitable, it will happen to every human being and you must know a role model over 18 who was in your shoes once, eventually you will get used to being an adult, one day doesn't change anything for you, can stay a teen at heart even if you are an adult on paper, no need to stress it, you can take your time and ease into being an adult, you are still the same Erato for all of us. There's a Chinese saying: ""明人不用细说，响鼓不用重捶."" This proverb can completely describe you. Don't get me wrong, my Chinese is very bad so I'm not showing off or anything, but I can't put it in a better way than this.

There are many listeners on 7 cups trying to become better listeners. Many peer supporters working every day to become a better peer supporter, and many, MANY role models on 7 cups who I would aspire to be. The saying, '明人不用细说，响鼓不用重捶', has the literal translation of, 'A person of good sense needs no detailed explanation; a resonant drum needs no heavy beating.' And you may be like, 'how has this got anything to do with me?' It has everything to do with you, because the actual meaning is: 'people who have good sense, or expertise towards a certain thing, only needs a small hint to understand any matter, and this person looks at the audience before speaking.' You're someone like that. You don't need much hint to be able to understand anyone's situation and you're observant and know how to deal with many different audiences and situations. You've always got a level head and unlike most role models, you don't have an ego and you will change your tone with different people so that they feel welcome. You embrace every hint people give you and you act on them, you care about people around you on 7 cups not based on the time but based on the eerie closeness you feel with them. You're probably thinking, ""Okay Marshy, got it, you're basically complimenting me, okay xD"". But that's not it - these people, who understand everyone and I, even, are hard to find. And I need you to know that.

Back on topic, Happy Birthday Era. You might feel bummed that you're gonna become an oldie and that you can't call an oldie auntie or grandma or that people will be calling you an oldie, or that you've got so much more on your plate because 18 is a total milestone birthday :O, but I'm glad to see you come to the oldie side with me :P And seeing the impact you have had on the teens side, it's honestly a huge question, how much impact would you make on the adults side (and how many pizzuh-loving people will continue to adore you).
