@HealerRecel02
For everyone here, a major thank you for sharing this here.
You are the best partner you will ever have so never ever run from yourself.
@akunknown Much agreed, one cannot be a friend to another until they are friends with themselves. It can be very difficult to befriend oneself, to breathe in self acceptance especially if it was never instilled in us from our youth, from the forces that raised us.

I agree that you can’t be friends with others till you’re friends with yourself and that it’s difficult to do that bc of how difficult self acceptance is if we weren’t accepted by our parents.
To me it all depends on how you were treated and whether or not you were valued by your family which includes your parents. If you were mistreated in any way(s) and/or not valued in any way(s) by any or all of them during any point in your life, it can sabotage and damage you by ruining your self esteem and confidence which will affect self acceptance to the point where there isn’t any self acceptance. And not just self acceptance but self respect, self worth, self care, self love, self validation, self value, etc.
@akunknown Well stated friend. ❤️💫💯 I certainly hope you're doing alright in those domains. Perhaps it's part of everyone's adolescent journey, spiritual development to seek inner acceptance, rather than external validation, dependence.

Thank you for these words. It is probably healthier to get in touch with my true feelings. However, for me, hiding my feelings is a way to survive. If I release my feelings, I feel like I will fall apart and I won't be able to cope with the situation I am in. If I had a safe space and time, it would be nice to get to know myself. But right now I feel like I am constantly under attack and my numbness is my armor.
@NotAllHere713
It’s okay to get to know yourself slowly!! i used to be like that in the past! i was turned off my feelings and everything to actually survived. Right now i no longer like that and I am happy! everyone have their own unique journey!! I believe you got this!! you are amazing!💜
@NotAllHere713 I'm sorry friend, such environments of hostility damage our soul, very difficult to be without a friend in the corner. *hugzies* Protect yourself, heart mind and body. Be safe. An emotional and physical shield I grant you.
@competentTruth3079 Thank you! 🌺
@HealerRecel02 this was amazing and it really hit different for me because I try to cancel things out all the time thinking it’s easier when it’s making me feel so stuck because I’m not getting anywhere
@HealerRecel02 I disagree. I feel that when I'm in the presence of a loved one, who gives me the space to feel my emotions and comforts me, that I can feel my emotions much more widely. There have been times I'll call a friend only to realize I'm saying things to them that I never realized myself. Even after journalling, mediating, etc.
Forcing such things to just come out encourages me to stay in the same place. No amount of emotionally processing comes by challenging 'weakness' and 'lack of willpower'. Sometimes it really is just a lack of exposure to emotional support by loved ones, and my body protecting me until I can find that place.
@fourby4donut
It’s valid for you to disagree. We all have different experiences and pov and thats alright! i know you know yourself better than anyone that’s why you disagree. For me it’s all about balance tho😊 whatever ur perspectives about that I am pretty sure you have your point! keep it up okay?💜
@fourby4donut I'm sorry you're feeling unsupported, an emotional desert that can be. So very difficult.
The whole truth! Love it🌸
Crashing right into that pain and smothering it with love
@darkwolf so apt isn't it.
@Wildflower257
It is, very much so.
