Slowly starting to get over my last disaster of trying to date and trusting people. The days are getting better not as sad as I was just a few week's ago.

It's okay to take risks to increase my comfort zone1 I just spoke to my fourth person in 1 - to - 1 chat. It's been a really amazing experience. I was super nervous at first! Listeners are the best! Thank you for self-lessly giving and being present! I'm so grateful!

It's still early in my journey but so far I've learned how to open up more. I tend to keep things bottled up and even though I knew how unhealthy that was, I didn't know how to stop. Telling people how I feel is so difficult for me. When things got unbearably overwhelming, 7 cups was there for me. I found it easier to share my feeling anonymously on the site and as I practiced here, it got easier to share my feelings in person with the many important people in my life.

I still have a way to go to learn to share with others. I also hope to work on my other issues with depression, anxiety, grief, and stress. But I am proud of the strides I've made since joining.

I learned to be more honest and true to myself about my feelings. Lying to myself does not help me heal from the pain of my past.
