@GlenM I am enough, a reminder I need frequently
I never thought that I would have something to offer others...turns out I was wrong
@GlenM It's not my fault that I think differently than other people.
@GlenM
As I work through the trauma path I've learned that sometimes it's not about feeling your best. Sometimes improvement can leave me feeling frustrated, sad, even anxious. It's important for me to learn how to identify when this is from growth or negative, and also important for me to take it slow and make sure I'm self-soothing along the way.
I found for me investing in some stress toys to play with while I talk about uncomfortable things helps keep me grounded and able to focus on monitoring how upset I am. I also found documenting any parts of my growth or changes in my understanding after these conversations or writing projects can go a long way to helping me cement that growth and self-soothing later as I can remind myself of what I've learned in the process.
Mindfulness meditations especially the short ones are just an awesome way to break up learning.
I learned to see the positive and everything. Life has ups and downs...It's about the courage that we have to face it.
To be strong @GlenM
I've learned coffee is always there
Why make lemonade when you can make limeade
it really is more about the journey than the steps.
