Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am grateful to you for your compassionate support, love, and careful contributions in May to make an impact in everyone's lives. Thank you for being an Awesome Community Leader and part of the Community Leadership Team!
Here are a couple of highlights I like to share!
- 312 community leaders went the extra mile to support the community in their roles. Also, the team grew up and joined 300+ Clubs!
- 224 Hosts hosted 2677 sessions during the month of May. These sessions varied ranging from Check-ins, Sharing circles, Support Sessions, to Guided Discussions, Fun Hours, and Meetings.
A huge shout out to 312 community leaders + 224 hosts for their incredible work and leadership. High five!!
And, Question time! I have a question for you. Please do share your thoughts with the community!
If you could teach us one skill that you learned recently, what will it be? Why?
@ASilentObserver. Thank you for tagging me! It means a lot especially since it was my first time hosting a support room through the new project <3 I was really nervous but big thanks to @lueurspace for helping me out <3 And I look forward to applying for the room supporter role <3
A skill that I learned recently is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and to make everyone feel heard and seen. This was a big challenge for me during the first few minutes when I got overwhelmed by all the wonderful people joining but after a while I got comfortable and I could create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere where everyone who wanted could share their stories and thoughts.
Thank you for tagging me once again! It really made my day! <3
@Saro007
You were amazing in the room, Saro! The skill that you are learning seems amazing and I've been the one who saw you doing great with it! You got this. I am glad to have received a tag from you for this. Looking forward to seeing you grow even more! Thank you so much for appreciating me! I appreciate YOU!
You can't give your life more time, so give the time you have, more life.
@ASilentObserver
Thank you so very much for the tag! Incredibly grateful to be included in the long list of amazing leaders here on 7 cups!
Something I have learned recently? Maybe it's some things that I have always held closely to my heart and now I see that indeed, they are all true...Slow and steady wins the race. Quality over quantity. All contributions are great contributions. Small things add up to great big things. We all have value here. Hang in there, show "true grit" and stand strong in the face of adversity. Stay great everyone and big *hugs*
Glad to be part of such an awesome team!
One skill I'm learning at the moment is switching off completely - I'm having at least one day a week where I don't log it in at all, for any reason. This means I'm not thinking about when my discussion/event is, which messages need answering etc.
@ASilentObserver
If you could teach us one skill that you learned recently, what will it be? Why?
I would let people know that writing down our worries or problems and using it as a to do list sometimes helps me in marking it off once I found the proper ways to solve it can be.
@ASilentObserver You are bound to improve at and absorb what you spend your time on. So, be careful where you are spending your time.
@ASilentObserver Whoo! Congrats community leaders! These are some great accomplishments! To answer the question, one thing I’ve learned is the skill of communication! Communication can be used everywhere, from talking with other leaders, people in your project, and in group chat rooms and 1-1s! I think the key is to not be afraid to ask questions when you’re unsure, and remembering to check in with people to learn about their progress!
Congratulations and thank you all for your hard work!
@ASilentObserver Thank you for tagging me, this is awesome! Congrats and thank youu to all the amazing leaders too

I would say to do what is best for yourself first, and take things at your own pace. Taking care of yourself is really important- pushing yourself too much can be damaging
Hello. I would love to teach you how to ask for help. I know opening about your problem or even admitting that you have one is hard for many people but it's also incredibly important. It's the first step to recovery. It's okay to ask for help and accept it. Everyone is valid and there is no "sick enough". If something is bothering you and affecting negatively your everyday life it means it's serious. Please take care of yourself and love yourself. You're strong. Take care <3
yay ! and one skill i would teach is probably how to play one or a few of the songs i learned on guitar recently bahaha <3
