Peer Appreciation Team Communication and Outreach ♡
This thread can be used by The Peer Appreciation Team members to reach out to the appreciators or those who were appreciated as well as communicate amongst themselves. Since teen listeners/members are unable to contact adult listeners/members via private messages, we can use this thread to easily connect with them relating to peer appreciation posts. 😄

I thought I should let all of you know about this, so decided to write one more post in the PAT thread 😀
I'm
not sure how all of you would feel about this, but I've decided to
leave the peer appreciation team. It's mainly because I will be starting
another level of my studies very soon and I will have to concentrate
more on it. While I love the team, I also want to be able to offer the
best I can as well which I don't think I will be able to with studies
and work and managing all other roles here in our community.
I
have to say, this was started with a great concept and reason in mind
and the project has come a long way as well... I give all it's credits
to my fellow team members. You really are some amazing individuals with
lot of creativity. ❤️❤️
Before I conclude this post I want to make sure that I say this;
All
PAT team members, there are some amazing leaders here in our team and
you are all in great hands with them. I don't want to speak for them but
I know that they are always willing to lend a helping hand and all you
have to do is ask.
Next, be kind to each other. We are a
wonderful group of people with both listeners and members and a little
bit of kindness and compassion would take the project a lot further than
we think 😊
Thirdly, I hope that the leadership I gave was not
terrible 😋 and that I was able to be atleast an ok leader 😂 I hope.. I
remember telling myself to lead the team as an inspirational leader and
to care about the team just as much as we care about the project. So
hoping I was able to do that..
Finally, I'd like to say just
cause I'm not in the team doesn't mean you can't talk to me 😋 Breeze
will probably be sneaking through the window of many of the team members
and if you want to have a chat, any help or just to have a breezy time
I'm always here.😊
Alright, I won't make this post too long.
So, I'd like to end it with a note like this "A simple act of kindness can go a long way and can make the impossible, possible".

The way you took the leadership reins, invested so much time in building the project, your work behind-the-scenes on the dashboard, checking in with team mates, making necessary updates and in general looking out for the team mates and the project is so very appreciated. You weren't an "ok" leader, my friend, you were and are a fantastic leader, and human and friend. Something else you're inspiring us with, is to be mindful of our commitments and step away for a break when needed, as a leader, despite this decision being a hard one, for I know and have seen that you truly care about the program and all of us.
Your kindness, leadership-style, work-ethic, compassion, creativity, enthusiasm, consideration and thoughtfulness, can-do attitude, everything is so much valued and ultra inspiring indeed. Thankyou for being a wonderful "peer" hehe. ❤ I'm so grateful for this project, allowing me to meet and work with some of the best 7 cups has. We all make a great team lol. #GoPAT

And it is tough to imagine the peer appreciation project without you and would absolutely not at all do that (would not at all imagine the project without you). Even though you've formally left us, you would stay on the dash and may casually visit any day. Not only visit but work/play with it any day you like. The dashboard is the marvel you made! Best of all dashboards I've come across at cups. And the birthday breeze videos, wow❤️ Thanks for expressing your talents with us. I know, wherever breeze would go breeziness would go along. I really wish you well and apologies if I might have hurt you in any way -I admire the way you took care of the project and admire your leadership.

You were and are a fantastic leader, human and friend 💛 One of the special things that has happened to me in my life, was meeting you Breeze. You have influenced me in so many ways, all positive (which I may have already told you so many times before, but I’ll keep telling you about it again and again 😁)
You will always be in all of our hearts, it is tough to see you leave the team as the others have mentioned here, but .... We can always check in on each other! 😉
Sometimes we need to take a break from some things, and that’s ok! I know you try your best to spread happiness in your own way and take care of others and yourself, while managing so many things at a time .... Also y'all may have come across this recent post by Fristo about adding a peer appreciation form button to our profiles, I found it to be pretty cool and included a button on my profile too lol. Fristo and I were thinking, we don't have a badge for our team yet (something we definitely are hoping to have someday soon, fingers crossed lol), till then we can have a 'dupe' badge as I called it xD make your own "Smile Spreader" badge (lowkey a button haha), you can make it in the same way as you did the peer appreciation form button. If you'd like, you can link the "application to become a smile spreader" to it. (Yes, we are always recruiting team mates, the more the merrier)

As a suggestion, maybe we could have more activities, games and challenges in our groups as well as forums here to encourage people to participate and appreciate themselves. Planning events like these that focus on the theme of "self love" and "self appreciation" would be so cool!For eg: Crosswords, jumbled words, goals and inspiration for daily appreciation of oneself etc.
