Staying Strong Through Failure
Hello, Community!
Remember that quote you have probably heard a million times? The one by Edison where he says: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
Failure is an essential aspect to life and success. it is also the huge hint that says: You are trying. You are dreaming. And you are living. Which is the best thing to remind yourself of, really. Since it is easy to stop doing all those things because of the fear of failing.
In accordance with this, there will be two types of people in your life. Those that motivate you and help you try again and those that will remind you of your failures to bring you down. And it is easy to get stuck. I for one struggle to handle failures, especially those wherein I put my whole heart and mind into.
Have you ever been there? What was it like? And how did you conquer your fears? Come share and be an inspiration. :)
Just gonna leave you with one of my favourite quotes : The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough. They're there to stop the other people. - Randy Paunch, The Last Lecture.

Thank you!
I look forward to seeing a lot of replies!
@HarveyM I think another (final) one might be coming up before I'm done for the day, haha. And yes, I do look forward to replies too :D

Hehe okay!
If you go to the MST Dashboard, and go to the 'Resources' tab, there is a taglist there you can use to make more people aware of this!
@HarveyM oooo lovely. Thank you so much for mentioning that :) I'll be sure to use it.

Awesome!
Leslie Jones did a segment on 'Weekend Update' SNL and she was talking about failure.
Did you know that Harrison Ford at 30 was a carpenter? Vera Wang didn't design her first dress until she was 40. You know what happened to Oprah at 23? She got fired! Imagine firing Oprah. It wasn't a mistake. Cause she wasn't Oprah. She was just some 23 year old punk who needed to get fired so she could become Oprah. Sometimes you got to fail to succeed.
She has dreams and the courage to chase after them
That is a great post, I too struggle with failure, I am my own cheering section, my family are very negative and toxic, so it hard, but I love reading all positive forums, I try to use that to move me to do something that I have no motivation to do. I try to convince myself it's better to try and fail than to never try at all.
@jr50 that is great! Being there for yourself is a very good way to get through failure. Especially trying and continuing to do so. Thank you so sharing. I wish you all the best. We'll be here to support you. ❤
@Peridot817 thank you
