Hey @Starling, I am Musical. I hope you are doing well, and I hope you are looking after yourself. I’m 10 years older than you and have had similar experience like yours so here is some old person advice ( please feel free to not take it) : The one thing that has helped me a lot over the years of dealing with this are the friends that I made in school, in my graduation college, and post graduation college. At every stage of my tiresome life I found at least 2 people who are absolute gems and they are still very much part of my life till date. I know the world might feel a heavy place to live right now but you will find your gems and when you do hold them close.

Till then please keep using 7 Cups, I found some great listeners here too. Unfortunately, I am not a listener here but if you want to talk to me we can do it here itself and we can be friends!

Hugs to you., I hope you realize that you are not alone. I had depression from an early age as well. Only my father never believed in getting help, he was proud we just “ worked through it”. At least your parents got you some help. Take one day at a time. Don’t forget to breathe. Take YOUR time, not their time. True friends will walk with you every step of your journey. Not change paths because yours got a little rocky . Remember Starling, You are worth it. Don’t ever let anyone put you down. Remember Jesus walks with you every step of the way, and at your lowest points, he is carrying you…….look for Footprints. It’s very powerful.
