It just doesn't feel the same as i grow older honestly i guess not being a little kid it take away the joy of it not believing in Santa and being excited for toys now its just another day fr ....

You’re definitely not the only one. I personally don’t mind it but there are a lot of people who find this time of year very difficult for a large variety of reasons.

But half of them just embrace it for other reasons which is also what i find a little confusing
@ladyofborders Definitely not. For many years Christmas, to me, has been something to endure & ignore as best I can, not to enjoy.
I've more than one reason for that. The most compelling one is that while I've never been a Christian & am not too religious generally, I would have more respect for the holiday if the focus was on what it's supposed to be: the birth of Jesus.
It is not supposed to be full of mall Santas, massive sales of products that were marked up before the "sale" began, etc. Christmas was about the coming of Jesus & all the claims associated with that. The real tradition died a long time ago.
Definitely not. Tears open all kinda scars for me. Fun to have them torn all December cause it's shoved in your face everywhere.
