Does anyone ever get a response from anyone to their post in here?
@blueAngel00 Yes, there's a Needs Reply Team to try and ensure that everyone gets a response whenever they post a new thread. However, there is often a backlog, and at the moment it seems to stretch back about 10 days (for genuine threads posted by members, as opposed to the clickbait).

Yep they do 😊 I have noticed some posts don’t seem to get a reply and others do. As already mentioned, it’s hard for listeners to get to every post but they do their best with their limited time. I think most members tend to respond to the ones they can directly relate with.

I'd like to apologize to all for my choice of words in my question. I just was wondering if the thread was still live and if so, do listeners (or members) reply here, or in a PM. The reason I even asked is because I didn't see any replies to other posts. But my head's on so cockeyed these days, for all I know, I didn't even look.
Basically, I think I wanted to know if I was wasting my time by posting anything here.
But again, I used a poor choice of words, (even in this answer I think I'm using poor word choices. But I'm too tired and depressed to change it, so I'll apologize now for my dismissive attitude) and I really didn't mean for it to to read as snippy as it looks. 🥀

I am NOT a listener but when i noticed a backlog i try to jump in and respond if i can add to conversation or insight.
i know it feel s like when you write it down you would like to know someone read and can understand asap.... i find i respond to some but many lately just have one line without explaining their issue and with out knowing what someone needs it is hard to respond in a meaningful way many are also on different time zones as well and might not see your post because of that
I have gotten a quick reply to a post. Actually, it was also surprisingly compassionate given I couldn’t upload photos from my phone and therefore had to wait to get to a computer, and it was like this very cheery “looking forward to the photos” which almost brought me to tears because it was just so kind.
@blueAngel00 Do you mean getting a listener via the classifieds? If so, I don't know what the success rate is. I hope listeners do pay attention to members who are seeking a listener and reach out if it seems like they are a good fit!
