Riddles!
This topic is about short riddles, because not everyone likes to do the larger logical puzzles. If you do like those, then click here.
If you've guessed the riddle, you can immediately post another one yourself. Let's keep it going.
I will start with this riddle:
What is easy to get into, but hard to get out of?
A black hearted creature with a sting from behind,
Minus my last letter from my name and you shall find;
People believe in my predicting ways
Yet its luck that guides them right.
What am I?
A horse runs an uncertain amount each day. One day, two of the horse's legs ran 30 miles while the other two ran 31 miles. Assuming the horse is normal, how is this possible?
One of one. Eight of two. One of three. Three of four. One of five. Six of six. Two of seven. Four of eight.
There is a Warrior,
Where is a sword?
Peace did he bring,
The fighting Lord.
Shed for him is my fifth tear.
Find it the title here,
Written in but a single word,
An eye is an eye, until it is heard.

@DarkWolf I take off my hat to the anonymous worthy individual who beat me to this answer.
@DarkWolf
It's early for me. I haven't had any coffee but I have to admit, I don't get this one. Could someone explain?
@Mirea
It's all about the first line. "One of one" is the first letter in the first line "There is a warrior"; "Eight of two" is the eigth letter in the second line "where is A sword"; etc... And all letters combined make the answer.
@DarkWolf
Ah, I should have gotten that. Emergency coffee coming up. :D
A clerk at a butcher shop stands five feet ten inches tall and wears size 13 sneakers. What does he weigh?
Sheila was born on December 28th yet her birthday always falls in the summer. How is this possible?
Three travelers decide to stay at a hotel and are told that their rooms will cost $10 each so they pay $30. Later, the clerk realizes that he made a mistake and should have only charged them $25. He gives a bellboy $5 to return to them but the bellboy is dishonest and gives them each only $1, keeping $2 for himself. So the men actually spent $27 and the bellboy kept $2. What happened to the other dollar from the original $30?
@DarkWolf
@DarkWolf three tavellers supposedly received $1 each from dishonest bellboy. from $25 plus three dollars to be received by the tavellers is equal to $28 but calculated as $27 so is it missing by mistake? (another funny explanation)
Every night I
What starts with a 'P', ends with an 'E' and has thousands of letters?

Might be so, but not the answer I'm looking for. There is a bit of a more obvious/straight-forward answer.
