If I did find it and there was no clear owner I would take it and put into a high yield savings account and grow it. Then I would use some to feed or give blankets or socks to the local homeless or addiction or battered women's shelter. The left over money I would save in the high yield savings account to grow for future help for these institutions.

Money is that, a piece of garbage...if you want to help someone you help them but giving a 100$ to anyone would not change a life...so as far as I am concerned I ignore it as the garbage that it is...anyway this game is very cynical...

@beyondrepairs Perhaps $100 may help someone, perhaps not. I am sure there are many other ways to help others than with money. You may even keep it to yourself if you feel it may help you. I was not intending to obtain a right or wrong answer with this post, but to invite to thinking.

Now, I am curious: saying that money is garbage, is just a way of talking? If money is not used to pay for things, to buy them, what would you use? What alternative to money would you suggest?
