Of course depending how long one lives, the family evolves. Elders die away and the next generation comes in.
When I was young, it was either my father's step-mother or one of my younger brothers (I am the eldest of five).
When I moved away from my country, it was my parents, particularly my father.
Now that I am older, it is the other younger brother and my own sons.
However, except for one step-daughter, I pretty much get along with everyone and communicate often

I'm close to both my parents and my brother. I can't really say who I'm closest to, because I talk to all of them about different things.
Hello, I was exploring different threads when I came across this.
I am closest to my father. He has been good to me even though not consistently. He has supported me through thick and thin. He's my ultimate support and source of strength. I am grateful for a father like him. May God bless him with all vitality and love.

I have always been close to my sister, ever since we were little. She is like my best friend who gets me like no one. We a help each other through the hard times. Even as adults living in separate locations and following distinct career paths, our connection remains unwavering. We call each other every week, and visit each other every month. We still share our joys and sorrows, our hopes and fears. We still make each other laugh and cry, we still love and respect each other.
i’m blessed to say that i’m close to all of my immediate family members. It is truly a privilege to be loved by them and to give love back. We often forget to be grateful for our family and bonding but sometimes that’s one of the most important and special things that you have to give thanks for. so this is your reminder to think of them and remember them with fondness - to families of all shapes, kinds and sizes!

I’d have to say probably my brother or one of my cousins.
As for why….
Brother…..Don’t get me wrong. There’s things about him that annoy or bother me and I’m sure there’s things about me that bother or annoy him. But aside from that, we’ve developed a understanding and close relationship with each other in recent years.
Cousin….We’ve been close since we were kids bc we’ve always had more than enough things in common to justify having the close relationship we’ve always had with each other.
