What have you done today from this list, folks? Even one thing is enough ❤︎
@Celaeno
I cry on a regular basis, I nap and leaving the house is definitely a good one, especially on a nice day where the sun is shining
@jr50
Midnight walks are also really nice, you can go for a walk, clear you head and not a lot of people are around at that time!
@harrytheunicorn. Hehe, I am never awake at midnight, unless I have insomnia, I have to be up at 6:30 am most days, for people without children that would be great!
@harrytheunicorn really cry,what is wrong with you!?
@KatelynHillerman
Nothings wrong with me :) Please keep in mind we are all different so what works for you might not work for others. Reaserach has proven that 85% of women and 73% of men felt less sad and angry after crying.
Here's a little list how it helps people
It Relieves Stress
Crying Lowers Blood Pressure
Tears Remove Toxins
It Reduces Manganese
Emotional Crying Means You're Human

Hi, @KatelynHillerman, I removed your comment due to its unappropriate language and offensive nature.
We are here for you, but please be mindful of remaining supportive of one another. We are all here struggling with depression and everyone has different coping techniques. There is no point to add more to our daily pain. Thank you!
@harrytheunicorn You're a pawsome human being too y'know!
An amazing list of things you can do to boost your mood! Also drinking a hot chocolate or maybe even just opening a window and watching the world go by. I really like this thread! Thank you for making it.
I personally like writing things down on Post-It notes. I write whatever is on my mind, my thoughts and stick them up on my wall. It's a way of seeing my thoughts and helps me sort of assess how I'm feeling and try to think about what the next steps are. Listening to music is my favourite too! Sometimes just blocking out the world to be on your own can do you the world of good.

@BlissfulSummer
You're welcome. hope some of them can help you :)
@harrytheunicorn p.s : daydreaming is the best one
@BlissfulSummer
oh it is I love daydreaming about me owning my own city and everyone is happy,kind and fun. That makes me happy.
@harrytheunicorn thats amazing one. Only if dreams could come true ❤
Reconnecting with an old friend, or writing specifically to tell one of your friends how much you appreciate them, has proven to be pretty helpful. It helps me to get out of my own head, while still expressing how I feel, and doing it in a way that will make another person feel good about themselves.
I do love music. I usually listen to movie and video game soundtracks. Sometimes when I'm struggling, it helps to listen to a stirring piece of dramatic/heroic music and imagine it as the soundtrack to my own fight against depression. It's silly, but it does actually make me feel better to imagine myself as the protagonist of my story, fighting the good fight against the dark forces trying to destroy me and my life from within.
Loved this!
