just a burden
my mom (talking about my brother's ex) says that people with depression anxiety etc shouldn't stay with other people because they tend to drain their energies and ruin partners and friends. she didn't realize how much she hurted me because I'm the one with depression I'm the one with anxiety and I'm the one who struggles with this kind of problems and now im so fucking scared that without even knowing it people around me have been feeling drained because of me all this time and maybe it's the reason because i have no friends. also she says that people like that are just bad because someone with real mental issues is aware of it and so proceed to see a therapist or something to feel better, while bad people just like to make others feeling as bad as them. i know it's not true because it's been so long that i wanted to see a therapist but I'm so scared of it and i cant make this fucking step but what if she's right I'm just a burden to everyone i don't deserve to love and to be loved

I pray to He who helps those who believe on him to walk and not faint, to run and not grow weary, who gives the Spirit without limit, and the Sipirt who allows us to say no to ungodly things grant you a very great day. Amen. Amen.
***I did not know it was that important. He allows us to soar, run, and walk in his strength. All three are needed when living, going out and about. I apologize. Shamefully.

I forgot.
In all things that I have been able to work, to carry out--- all the programs that I have gone through---my ability, fruitfulness has come thanks to The Lord. All honor, glory, praise, thanks to Him who imparts the Spirit in which we can do all things, who does not dissapoint those who put their confidence in Him, who have believed in/on Him, combining what they have heard or read of him with belief/faith, in who all of existence has its being, who provides for all things we see, who forms the clouds, brings about the rain, and causes plants to grow, and blesses our harvests. "To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious prescence without fault and with great JOY[emphasis mine]------to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now, and forevermore! Amen." Amen! May he who renews your life, sustains you each day, one more day grant you a very very great day! Amen!

@WittyCar0607It is the view of society sometimes, it does not have to be real.. Most of the people who previously dealt with mental illnesses are now the most kind, understanding and sympathetic (that I have seen). No one hurts people just because he suffers! Friends who come and go are not friends just an experience.. like a passing train.. You will get good friends and good support. You have to go to the therapist not because the people around will get hurt.. it's not the truth and it's not the way things work but for you because you should take care of yourself.. right? Do you know that many psychiatrists were mentally ill? Some of them still suffer from some symptoms, but they have proven that they are able to give generously.. Some here volunteer as listeners in 7 cups and are doing well.. I'm sure you're also a wonderful person and care about others, so you're afraid that what your mother said is true..
@wittycar0607
Sorry, I did not tell you immediately. But be careful with the above guy. I know him. He's very tricky, takes things and bends the truth to trick, tempt, and when one is suffering temptation is hard to persist through. Be careful. Sorry, I cannot do much to help. Seek community. Do not isolate. Keep safe from me also. For I have been isolating and to be honest, inadvertantly driving others to suicide and have been very depressed, negative, I have not been doing so well.

24 “The God who made the world and everything in it(A) is the Lord of heaven and earth(B) and does not live in temples built by human hands.(C) 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.(D) 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.(E) 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.(F) 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[a](G) As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’[b] 29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill.(H) 30 In the past God overlooked(I) such ignorance,(J) but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.(K) 31 For he has set a day when he will judge(L) the world with justice(M) by the man he has appointed.(N) He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

Hebrews 12:7-13
New International Version
7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children.(A) For what children are not disciplined by their father? 8 If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline(B)—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. 9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits(C) and live!(D) 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness.(E) 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace(F) for those who have been trained by it. 12 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees.(G) 13 “Make level paths for your feet,”[a](H) so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

Present Weakness and Resurrection Life
4 Therefore, since through God’s mercy(A) we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.(B) 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways;(C) we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God.(D) On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience(E) in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel(F) is veiled,(G) it is veiled to those who are perishing.(H) 4 The god(I) of this age(J) has blinded(K) the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ,(L) who is the image of God.(M) 5 For what we preach is not ourselves,(N) but Jesus Christ as Lord,(O) and ourselves as your servants(P) for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a](Q) made his light shine in our hearts(R) to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.(S) 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay(T) to show that this all-surpassing power is from God(U) and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side,(V) but not crushed; perplexed,(W) but not in despair; 9 persecuted,(X) but not abandoned;(Y) struck down, but not destroyed.(Z) 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus,(AA) so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.(AB) 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake,(AC) so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.(AD) 13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”[b](AE) Since we have that same spirit of[c] faith,(AF) we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead(AG) will also raise us with Jesus(AH) and present us with you to himself.(AI) 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving(AJ) to overflow to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart.(AK) Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly(AL) we are being renewed(AM) day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.(AN) 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen,(AO) since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

3 We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path,(A) so that our ministry will not be discredited. 4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; 5 in beatings, imprisonments(B) and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger;(C) 6 in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit(D) and in sincere love;(E) 7 in truthful speech(F) and in the power of God;(G) with weapons of righteousness(H) in the right hand and in the left; 8 through glory and dishonor,(I) bad report(J) and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors;(K) 9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying,(L) and yet we live on;(M) beaten, and yet not killed; 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing;(N) poor, yet making many rich;(O) having nothing,(P) and yet possessing everything.(Q) 11 We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you.(R) 12 We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. 13 As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children(S)—open wide your hearts(T) also. Peace and Hope
5 Therefore, since we have been justified(A) through faith,(B) we[a] have peace(C) with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,(D) 2 through whom we have gained access(E) by faith into this grace in which we now stand.(F) And we[b] boast in the hope(G) of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings,(H) because we know that suffering produces perseverance;(I) 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope(J) does not put us to shame, because God’s love(K) has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit,(L) who has been given to us.
6 You see, at just the right time,(M) when we were still powerless,(N) Christ died for the ungodly.(O) 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(P)
9 Since we have now been justified(Q) by his blood,(R) how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath(S) through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies,(T) we were reconciled(U) to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!(V) 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.(W)

The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord(A) and in his mighty power.(B) 11 Put on the full armor of God,(C) so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,(D) but against the rulers, against the authorities,(E) against the powers(F) of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.(G) 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God,(H) so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist,(I) with the breastplate of righteousness in place,(J) 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.(K) 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,(L) with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.(M) 17 Take the helmet of salvation(N) and the sword of the Spirit,(O) which is the word of God.(P)
18 And pray in the Spirit(Q) on all occasions(R) with all kinds of prayers and requests.(S) With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying(T) for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me,(U) that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly(V) make known the mystery(W) of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador(X) in chains.(Y) Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
***our struggle is against all lies of the devil we believe who leads the whole world astray. Coveting, comparison to others. Bitter selfish ambition, envy. Things the bible condemns. You shall not covet anything of your neighbor's: accomplishments, talents, family, relationships, success, possessions, looks, charm, charisma, wealth, house, clothes, appearance, fortune, supposed luck, etc. (Exodus 20:17). Godliness with contentment is great gain if one is content with what they already have.(1 Timothy 6:6, some Spanish translations say if one is content with what they already have, there are many translations to see the whole message.)
