I need some positive words
Hi everyone, I had this event happen in April, and since then I've been struggling and battling with depression on a daily basis, all I can focus on is the people who I hurt and the people who speak negatively of me or said something that hurt my feelings. The only words that go through my head are basically rude ones and it's very hard for me to focus off the rudeness and focus on the positivity. If any of you have any encouraging or friendly words to share with me that might make my day a little bit better, and give me more power and words to fight back the negative thoughts that go through my head, it would be a big help. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful joy filled day!

Whatever happened back in April, no matter if you did something wrong or if someone did something wrong to you, that wasn't you. You clearly resent whatever happened and as a result, now you've resulted to punishing yourself for it by calling yourself names and not letting yourself be optimistic about yourself. Humans are animals driven by desires and impulses and some times we have to act without the time to think but if given the consequence to our actions before acting we would all act differently. I don't know what's happened to you or what the people around you think of you but people don't hold grudges forever and people change every day so don't continue to name yourself these things every single day especially when you know that what happened wasn't your true intention.
You're beautiful inside and out and deserve happiness.
You need to allow yourself to live and remember Hakuna Matata
Have a roarsome day!
Oops meant to delete your post above mine aha ignore that part, that's my mistake for the day
@LaughingLemon I've been there, and I realized the best thing is to keep your mind off it by keeping yourself busy. Focus on things that you love, a hobby - reading, watching a movie, listening to music. One thing my friend said to me during that period that kinda made me feel much better was "You can't have a rainbow without a little rain", and a quote I've been trying to live by right now is "Going backwards is not good, for anybody". So try not to dwell on the past, we've all made mistakes. I know it's hard, but you are strong, and you can get through this. Hope you have a lovely week ahead, I'm here to talk whenever! 🙆🏻
Thank you both for the replies, you're both right though, I will get through this, me and the person who I had the problem with are very good friends now, I am like one of the best friends he's ever had, but I just have guilt over different things in my life that got triggered by some of my OCD tendencies. I need to remember that people care about me and almost everyone has haters, but everyone also have people who care, and if you are at the center of attention at one point, everyone forgets about you eventually and moves onto something else. I think this is how I'll have to view things to find some peace.
I understand how it feels to go through a time like this but remember you're not alone in this. We are all with you, to support you and make you realize how worthy you are to this world! I am proud of you because you've been so strong all this time. Stay strong and stay amazing! Never forget that we all are here for you!
@LaughingLemon First of all, the fact that you're trying to be positive when you're going through so much really is inspiring. Not everyone is able to do that. I'm really proud of you. Always remember, you're a beautiful person, and I hope you'll find the ability to look at the positive. I believe in you.
@LaughingLemon
I am so proud of you for knowing yourself well enough and to be brave enough to ask for positive thoughts. You are a lovely person and I feel like your bravery here might be able to help another person be brave. I am sorry that you had a negative event that has been affecting you, but It seems like you are ready for the new day. I am sure that such a lovely, strong person like you will have a great future.
I hope that things get better.
