Wishing you all a wonderful and blessed week!
1. I want to feel happy, at ease, and accomplished. 2. I feel happy that I am still alive. 3. Take a walk, and focus on reducing stress. Have a blessed week!
I love to take walks to get rid of stress. @iridescentbutterfly1
1.) peaceful, content and happy. 2.) Some clothes I ordered arrived today and I was just really happy unpacking them and trying them on haha. 3.) hmm maybe meditate a little. I’ve been wanting to do that for a while now but I always forgot.
I love unpacking new clothes. @mxxnchxldjamie
1. I want to feel energetic, in control of my emotions, and connected. 2. My husband made the bed! It was a great surprise when I walked into the bedroom after he went to work! 3. I joined seven cups today, this is the beginning of my self care journey n
Welcome! It is great to have you. I love that your husband suprised you like that. It is those little things that matter. @littleOtter1342
Normal, loved, needed. Nothing today has been happy. A very very bad day. I m too depressed for selfcare
Sending peace. Some days are just like that. Self care can simply be reminding yourself that one bad day isn't your life.@tracis
1 ) I want to feel peace of mind today 2) my mother went to meet friend. This made me happy today 3) I can take a break but can't
What would bring you more peace of mind? @sakshi01
I feel terrible i just want someone to talk to
You can talk right here, if it helps. Do you want to tell us more about what is going on?@toughCamp5721
1.) What are three things you want to feel today?
I want to feel like I'm progressing, that I'm valuable/worthy, and at peace with the past.
2.) What made you feel happy today?
My mom made me a cup of coffee. :)
3.) What can you do for self care today?
Since I'm feeling really bad, I'm just allowing myself to take things one step at a time. I've been a hard worker all my life, and I know that there will always be time to get back on that horse. For right now, giving myself time/space to not be so 'productive' when I'm feeling low, to not force myself. I'm also thinking about deep-cleansing my skin now with a luxury exfolitating mask. :)
The mask sounds fantastic. What you say about self-care is really, really important. Go you! @RestrictedSoul22
1.) What are three things you want to feel today?
That I am free of feeling shamed and guilty, so I may freely socialize with my friends.
2.) What made you feel happy today?
I took rest and did it enough to feel a bit happier.
3.) What can you do for self care today?
More mindfulness, more exercises of course, being a bit more successful at work/studies/other deeds and being better at socializing.
Sounds like you have a good plan. @windSpirit
1.) What are three things you want to feel today?
It's the end of the day here, so here are three things I felt, instead:
Determined | Discouraged | Worried | (bonus: warm)
2.) What made you feel happy today?
I'm pretty relieved to finally have power after a week of it being out. But I think I was happiest this morning, after an interesting dream.
3.) What can you do for self care today?
Once the power came on I did hours of laundry, cleaned all the rooms from their "survive in the cold" setup, and got myself sorted out to do a week's worth of work this weekend to make up for lost time.
@nordurnStar
Hi! It's been a while.
Interesting response. I'm sorry that you feel discouraged and worried. However, I am glad that you feel relieved and determined as well.
I'm glad that the power is back on for you! That must have been a challenge. It sounds like that dream gave you some insights. I've been consulting the dream dictionary link you gave me a while back to try figuring out my own dreams; for whatever reason, I've lately been having the pattern of dreaming about teeth.
It's good that you were able to catch up to what was lost! Cheers to you.
@TheAutumnWitch
Hello!!! And welcome back!
The day after the power came back on I was notified that I was accepted into my PhD program, so all of a sudden the week of missed work doesn't seem so tragic!!! Cheerily working today--so good finally having a solid plan for next fall.
As for your teeth dreams, I've noticed from conversations that everyone seems to have their own "default stress dream." Mine is insects. When things are particularly chaotic for prolonged times, I always start to dream of swarms of bugs. I have a couple friends that dream of their teeth falling out during such times of stress. Without more context on your situation specifically it's hard to say, of course, but that's just something I've noticed.
I hope this weekend/Sunday holds something good for you! <3
@nordurnStar
Thank you! It's good to be back.
That's awesome! Congratulations on being accepted into the PhD program! Knowing there is solidity in the path for your future is so reassuring. ^_^
A "default stress dream" makes sense and would explain things. Eee, insects sound unpleasant to me; I'm not fond of the creepy-crawlies. In my case, my dreams involved me continually spitting out my teeth. Some further readings said that it either meant a loss of power or making an uncomfortable change in my life, and I'm honestly not sure which one is more accurate, if not having both applied to my situation.
Thank you so much! Today was a little wonky for me at the start, but coming here and reading kindhearted comments such as yours are the good that has been held for me! ^_^ I hope you're having an awesome day, too!
1.) What are three things you want to feel today? Happy, acomplished, and productive
2.) What made you feel happy today? My boyfriend made me laugh
3.) What can you do for self care today? Laugh, clean, cook, listen to music
Wishing you all a wonderful and blessed week!
I wish that I could make cleaning part of my self-care routine. I would much rather avoid it. @Rebekahwriter13
@bestVase7265 Cleaning can be self-care as I am allgeric to dust.
Makes good sense to me.@Rebekahwriter13
