Hey @sshn07, nice to meet you. Thankyou for creating these positively impactful posts. ❤

Not thankful exactly lol, but the struggles make me more grateful for life and living each day, so that's something hehe. ❤

How about you?

Hey @Sunisshiningandsoareyou, nice to meet you too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 💕 That is definitely something. I'm so glad you feel that way.

As for me, I really struggled to believe that life gets better during my depressed days. However, I now would say that I got better with life. It's always a work in progress with challenges to face. I'm nowhere near the life I hope to have but I'm always grateful to be surrounded by friends and family to share even the littlest happy moments that count.

thank you for asking 😉

My bad mental health last year teaches me that I was not alone and that what it feels like to have loneliness, bad focus, and lack of motivation.

As a result, I can empathise with people who also have bad mental health. I can now also know how great it is to be understood and reiceive support. I also learned that even supportive words can brighten up someone's day. You will never know what the memories you give to other people mean to them.

Also, I got cyberbullied 3 months ago and I learned that I should be proud of myself if I share my opinion. And I also learned that it's not okay to leave mean comments to someone's opinion.

@Aileen1114117

So sorry to hear about you being bullied. Right or wrong, we all have a right to our own opinion. ❤️

No one has the right to hurt anyone because of theirs...

sshn07 OP July 11th, 2022

@Aileen1114117 I’m with you on this! It’s so true. A tiny bit of kind words from people can go a long way. I’m sorry to learn that you’ve been cyberbullied. But never stop sharing your thoughts because from your post I hope people can learn how to switch a bad experience to a soulful one. You travelling on those paths made you who you are today. You are amazing 💜

Hello

I struggle with being consistent in my life. I want to do better and LIVE better but I don't have much energy to work towards it. But I am grateful I am making small efforts everyday. And also I am grateful that my struggles made me more kind and compassionate towards others.

Have a nice day 💙

@sshn07

Nice to meet you!

I'm not exactly grateful but I'm thankful for all the days I've been depressed, anxious, self-harmed and wanted to die because it's made me more thankful for life it self and take everyday as it comes and goes, I'm also thankful for 7 Cups making me want to live life to the fullest, all the training to reply to members/listeners appropriately, me being a Verified Listener has made me want to live more because of all the people I'm helping.

I'm thankful that I've decided that I have to make myself happy before anyone else and because of that I got out of my comfort zone and referred myself to a counselling service.

Thankyou for making this post, it has made me think about all the things I should be thankful/grateful for.

You are amazing! ❤️

Ah, you're in the CDM program, congrats!! Love your thread and your posts.

I don't even want to start counting my struggles. I'm just thankful for everything they taught me. I've developed perseverance for sure, more empathy for people who have gone through some of what I have. Struggle and hurt I believe opens the heart, so maybe I've learned to love deeper and care more. Not in any outward showy kind of way. I think I mean it does make you more mindful, more deliberate and aware of your emotions.

Look at it this way when you're in the middle of 'it'.... if you're never challenged, you'll never learn. 😊

Thank you so much, @EmbStitcher33 ✨

This is such a good message! Maybe if we did not go through our struggles, we might not be as empathic as we are.

It’s always so special to be loved deeper and cared for more ☺️. I love this for you!

You’re where you need to be 💛!

Hey! @sshn07 Nice to meet you, thank you for creating this threat as I am sure we all need it. <3

I am grateful to still be able to be alive and be able to provide for myself and my Fiancé. Back in July of 2020 I had went to my Doctor over Anxiety, When I got there I was a new patient to St Vincent and so I of course had my weight checked and blood pleasure checked and all of that stuff. When my Doctor checked to listen to my heart, She noticed something off. And I had a EKG and an Echo and in both of those, there was no blood going through the entire right side of my heart and my heart was enlarged about three times it should have been. So a couple of months went by and that came with MRI's and about three heart procedures and then October 1st of 2020 I had open heart surgery to try and repair the right side of my valve to reconnect it so I could have blood pumping through. A planned surgery was suppose to be 4 hours but with many troubles during surgery it ended up being over 10 hours and they just replaced the valve. I am almost two years out of surgery and I feel worse. But that is because my heart is not skipping beats alot and out of rhythm. but all of that comes with a lesson in itself.

Although life is short and it throws curve balls at you sometimes. You still need to live everyday to the best of your ability. since I had my surgery I was also diagnosed with nerve damage starting from my back all the way to my toes and trust me it does not feel good as far as the nerve pains come. And carpal tunnel in my shoulders, arms and really bad in my hands. But my fear was that I would not be able to provide or work when I was having my heart surgery but I am working at Home Depot and well that is alot of work and hard on the body but I make money and live each day to the best I can and I really believe that you can to as well.

So remember whatever you are facing in life. You are not alone and you can beat past any wall that tries and block your path.

Lessee. Ummm....

No. I can't think of anything about my current "struggle" to be grateful for. To be honest, I find the idea of gratitude for suffering morally repellent, as well as absurd.

Sad to see you feel this way.

I hope you get to experience the feeling of gratitude for your struggles someday.

And believe you me, it is such a special feeling when you’re able to get there in life! It doesn’t just do you a favour but for the people around you as well.

All the best in your journey ✨
