Voices and Hallucinations
Got Schizophrenia? Hearing voices or seeing people?
It sucks when you hear people saying horrible things to you it really is; I understand. Why not try changing a few things :)
Though you do not want your brain to cause dilutions or hallucinations, it does so why not create good people and good voices? Turn your life into a game. Use the power of your mind to create good people to fight the bad people. Make it into a fantasy world, make it into an action game, do whatever you like with it. Though you may feel week, you have a more creative and imaginative brain than anyone else :) I believe that you can turn things around and you can fight the bad voices using some which you make yourself. There's no harm in trying :)
I hear voices all the time. Some I can handle, some I can't. It's hard not to listen or ignore them.
@SaraLynn3004 It would be awesome to hear how you're doing and how things have got better for you? 😊
@TommyGibson27 I'm doing a lot better thanks to meds. I'm coping everyday, the only way I know how, by taking one day at a time.
It's the same thing for people hearing ringing in their ears all the time. You tune it out! After awhile the voices seem to give up that is until you become emotionally charged by some affect. I have schizophrenia with auditory hallucinations. If I'm not careful, I'll get wrapped up into the voices by dictating my life for me. I refuse to believe anymore. Not even the good. It's my own delusions!
i am hearing voices telling me to hang myself i want to listen to them
Hi Liam, how are you ?
It takes over my life and it'seems really difficult to deal with as well as ocd.
In the event that this is to be sure your conclusion, it is treatable with medicines however not reparable. This implies the pharmaceuticals should dependably be taken or backslide will happen, [spam removed]
Here's the uplifting news: the greater part of the potential causes can more likely than not be cured or effectively made do with treatment. I'm certain it's alarming, however there is each purpose behind true and genuine expectation, yet you have to hear that from a rehearsing singular holding a restorative doctorate and not a building one like me!

Hi, I have to make a quick comment.
I work in the mental health field. I also hear voices. While I understand there are many, many people who take medication for their experiences, there are also many who don't--and those are the people whose voices aren't heard very often. But we exist. I think telling people that there isn't a "cure" for their experience, that medication is the only route or else they will backslide causes a lot of fear and hopelessness--which, in turn, can cause more voices. Many of my coworkers experience voices, delusions, e.t.c, just as I do. Some are on medication, others are not. I think there's a wide variety of options and alternatives. What's sad is that we're not told about them. To shove many people into one box feels deprecating for all of us.
@Alishia
What kind of place is this where people that hear voices are not and meds and work along side the people who do?
I live a couple different reality where I have no choice but to be medicated , and yeah the doctors would never allow me to hear voices and go without medication.
I've been dealing with hallucinations and voices in my head, and I've been trying to get help but nothing seems to work. :(
@persistentPine4505 that must be really frustrating to be reaching out for help but not finding the right thing yet.
Wonderful post!!! Genuinely loved this kind of post. Although I want much more information on like precious subject matter.

I'm not Schitzophrenic, I have bipolar disorder. But a do suffer from episodes of psychosis. I think I'm going into a relapse as hallucinations are starting to creep in again :(
@MonBon
Hi there! Shouldn't this be moved to the PDs Community?
@admaiorasemper
Schizophrenia is not a personality disorder.
There are schizotypal and schizoid personality disorders, but those are distinct from schizophrenia.
@MonBon
I know, but since they do not really have their own subcommunity, perhaps it may help...?

My daughter, age 42, has been hearing voices for about 6 months. She lives in Mexico, we tried to connect her with a psychiatrist in her area but were not able to do so. That is how I ended up here, wondering about tele - health, but it seems the type of help offered by this service is not geared toward "voices" / schizophrenia. Am I right or wrong ?
@Tommy27 Dude that's not how it works :)
