Ugh, work is the worst.
I could be having the best day but something triggers me at work and I'm a complete Zombie for the rest of the day and take home that anger and stress. Today was one of those days. I'm short tempered now and like a switch flips, I snap at those that love me the most like I'm trying to bring them down. I don't know how to get my mind out of the funks before coming home...any suggestions?

Sounds like you had a terrible and horrible day at work today. I guess those hours at work go on forever. Some might say that tomorrow might be better but when there are triggers how can that be. Well thanks for sharing about things I guess bad days give you experience or teach you a lesson perhaps that is to think about how you take out the frustration on those you love. :)

I was reading through some meditation/motivation forums lately and I saw someone recommend Tara Brach's podcast. So I gave it a listen. OH. EM. GEE. :) No matter how terrible I'm feeling, her podcasts make me feel like everything is going to be okay. They are perfect to listen to in the car on the way home from work. Use them as a decompression tool before you get home. Work sucks. :)
