I have a major phobia of the dark. Even being in a dim light terrifys me

I am claustrophobic. I really hate tight spaces. Even the idea of me being in small tunnels terrifies me. Even when I am watching a movie and there comes up a scene where someone is trap in a sinking ship then i would be the one suffocating. And yes I am referring to the scenes of titanic. ☺

Not sure if this is a phobia but it's my biggest fear. I know it is really silly but I can't help it I'm afraid of vacuum cleaners. Its not of the vacuum hurting me or the noise. It's of using the vacuum and damaging the floor with it... I know that sounds dumb but it's true I have had to many bad experience with vacuums destroying the floor and now I can't use them with out getting shaky and scared. I jump ever time I turn them on and have to turn it on and off ever few seconds to take a break and calm down.

Hey @tiny, you are not alone! So many people struggle with social anxiety. It is such a hard thing to face! I think for me, forcing myself to get in front of people or try really helped. But, it doesn't always work for everyone. Good luck with it! We are here if you need support at any time!!!

I'm claustrophobic and I get made fun of for it because everyone thinks it's fake and I also have a fear of butterflies. Ever since I was in Girl Scouts, we went to this butterfly room thing and one landed on me and I was so scared and nobody would get it off me.

Many years ago I had developed a choking phobia. I was losing a lot weight so I had to get help. So I went to a hypnotist and got hypnotized. I thought it was silly but hey, it worked. On my way home I ate, It was amazing. I haven't had a problem with that phobia ever since! :)

I have a slight social anxiety and I've had it for 6 years now. I used to be a lot worse but gradually I've gotten better with time and I think anyone who is suffering with it there's always hope to getting better. Everyone will improve at different speeds but there's hope for everyone!

I suffer from anxiety, social anxiety and night anxiety. Its hard living a life like this where you feel alone and that no one takes you seriously. People take advantage to tease me just because im quiet. Its hard when i get panic attacks and how i start shaking and breathing hard. I wish people would understand. Im still working on how to solve my anxiety disorder. Im afraid to talk to people. Afraid to embarrass my self, make myself look awkward and weird. Its hard.

I suffer from sleep paralysis. It is so hard to just sleep because all you see is your nightmares constantly
