@Taylor13mayyy

Your phobia of needles is one I can help with, I hope!

I had a phobia of needles for what I thought was my entire life. I would cry hysterically if I needed an injection. It would cause terrifying nausea and I would be in pain due to anxiety.

I had to go through numerous blood draws this year. Which has totally helped my phobia. There are three things I try to think to myself during an injection.

1. It will be over within five minutes, and I'll soon be relaxed again.

2. Thousands of people are going through the same.

3. This will help me,and prevent future injections in some cases.

If you ever need support on trypanophobia, please message me!smiley

Terrified of not being a success.

Impatient crowds. It only takes one person to change the entire dynamic and make it dangerous.

I'm afraid of a lot...

Never being good enough

Never going to be a mother or wife

Pregnancy

Being alone with my thoughts

Myself (ex self Harmer)

Heights

Breakdowns

I know it's not normal, and being weird doesn't bother me... I have no friends anyways. But I'm just afraid.

For the longest time, and partly now, people. Always people. Presentations, public speaking, anything related. And I've got one short presentation coming up next week, sigh.

It's not really a strong fear - but a major dislike

Hospitals, doctors, medication, therapy, counsellors, psychologists, therapists, mental asylums, rehab, treatment centres etc.

It gets to the point where I refuse to go to check ups or seek help, my thoughts get pretty dark very quickly when people suggest or threaten to send me to one of these places/people/treatment.

Doesn't exactly help my situation though haha

I have bad driving anxiety. I've had it for 14 years. I really need to connect with someone with driving anxiety who understands what I'm going through. I'm new here, today is actually my first time here at 7 cups of tea. IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU PLEASE RESPOND.

I am not sure if there's a way to message or if you can just leave a message there in this thread.

Maybe we can help each other.

I have no idea what causes it but I am terrified of silence.

It is a bit embarrassing for me to admit, but I am to this day, still terrified of birds. Not rats, spiders or snakes or sharks. If I see a group of seagulls in the parking lot or crows in someone's front lawn, I literally cannot continue to move forward. I would have to walk another direction altogether. I don't know how to describe it. No fight or flight, I just freeze up for the longest time. It is not only an "irrational" but inconvenient phobia to have. I'd rather be afraid of vending machines.
