Anxiety
Hello I'm a newbie to a chat group. My name is Tracy and im 43, I'm a qualified chef, I'm a quiet person and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I suffer from Generalised Anxiety Disorder and ocd. I don't take any medication I try to deal with it myself but sometimes it's just so hard.

Hey @Thumper013 ! I am glad you are coming on this site and talking with some of our listeners here. Anxiety can be very hard to deal with, and I am also glad you are taking the steps to move yourself forward on your journey.

Same here (I wrote a bit more about myself in my thread). I don't take any meds, but I went into therapy because dealing with it was too hard and was getting even harder. I wish I started earlier :) I think it helps to realise the roots of it, what is it that makes you you, and gives you the idea how maybe you want to change yourself to be happier :)

Hi Tracey, me to i suffer from I don't know if you can call it generalized anxiety but I suffer a severe version sometimes. I also have depression. I don't take meds nor seen a specialist for my mental health cause it's expensive here in my country.
It's hard yes. Everyday I have to put this mask that I am okay so I can work and I don't want the whole world to gossip about my problems.

Hi Tracy, I suffer from it myself but I’m doing much better by connecting with my breath, exercising regularly and meditating. Wish you a happy healing journey!
