Feeling Reassured: Share Your Go-To Comforts!

Mya000 October 25th

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing well today. I wanted to create a conversation where we can share the little things that help us feel reassured when anxiety creeps in. It can be anything—something common, unusual, small, or big! We all have our unique ways of finding reassurance, and I believe that sharing these can help us feel more connected and supported, and might inspire someone else in our community!

I’d love to hear from you! What are three things that help you find comfort when anxiety strikes?

I’ll start:

  1. My cute bear keychain 🧸 – it’s always on my bag and reminds me of the warmth of home.
  2. My positive reminders widgets on my phone – they bring a little brightness to my day and help me stay grounded.
  3. My big warm scarf – it wraps me in comfort and makes me feel protected, like a cozy hug.

Hii. I love this post! Thank you for starting this conversation topic.

Comfort things when anxiety strikes

  1. Water: It’s a calming distraction and hydrating can definitely clear my mind to think rationally.
  2. Positive quotes: Helps me keep a positive outlook on situations and push through.
  3. Plushies: Awww yea. Soft toys immediately brighten up my day and calm me. They are so adorable.

Have a great day!

@calmingcomfortero Thank you so much for sharing your comfort tools! I love your suggestions, especially plushies—they really do have a special way of bringing comfort. Water and positive quotes are such great choices too. Wishing you a wonderful day ahead as well!

@Mya000

Hi thanks for the topic. My several items:

1. Lovely pictures: especially those taken during trips, which remind me of the good days

2.Reading books: those I didn't have enough time and energy to do during workdays, I'll rest and read them without intervention

3.Going out for a stroll: walking slowly on the street or alone the river, which is really relaxing for me

@Rescie Thank you so much for sharing! I love your list—there’s something so special about looking back on travel photos and reliving those happy memories. Taking time to read and unwind without distractions is wonderful too. And a peaceful stroll is such a lovely way to recharge. I’m so glad you connected with this topic! 😊
