Am I the only one who doesnt like Christmas?
Same concept as last year, it just bothers me a little how people tend to celebrate Christmas with Christmas music or decorations (i dont know how differently to word this so im sorry if it seems like im repeating the same post from last year)

What I really hate in Christmas time is the fact it is like "a usual day, but on steroids, with a gigantic physical and mental hangover after".
Christmas is not good, neither when I am alone (just because of feel alone, isolated, useless), nor when I am a part of the group: a constant hurry, the pressure of numerous family appointments, moving from place to place and expectations to eat a lot and smile while chained to the table, buying gifts is also a nightmare to me (just slightly more pleasant, if I hope seeing somebody's face happy with that 😊, but I am never comfortable with my gift choices).
And what you dislike in the Christmas time?

I mean, do you think we should experience the Christmas time more inside our souls, while it is an enormous social pressure to make a show of it?

Yes, I think I do. I don't necessarily mean the religious things, but the reflection.
For some reason I like it when people forget about my birthdays. Then - instead of fake smiles or presents I don't really need - I have the chance to live it deep inside. To tell to myself: "XX years ago I was born", "How my life is?", "What part of it was great?", "What I should do for the future?".
I'd expect Christmas to be like that: quite, peaceful and on reflections. Not a rat race with wishes, shopping, decorations and gifts.
The best Christmas I remember was going for a walk to a snowy forest. Instead of sitting by the table and listening to the neverending encouragements to EAT MORE. Just two couples in a silent winter landscape, a lot of snow and smiles while the white feather from the trees was falling on us. It was like in the Wham's "Last Christmas" video (and, yes, like in the song, one of those couples had a terrible breakup a few years later).

Sadly i dislike christmas due to the bad incodednt that had happened to me,
but i need to accept things as it is,
i have to face it,
we dont like this but its that bitter medicine we have to take,
i freaking hate it but its what it is
I tend to disagree with the whole having to buy presents. I've sort of given that up. But I don't know for me there's something uplifting about listening to Christmas music and seating all the lights. Tho this year it was all just to much for me and we didn't celebrate. My SO and I only do presents for each other so it's all good I suppose. I always get extra anxious around the holidays so I try to focus on the things I love.
