I'm Jim. 54 male, started feeling depressed over the holidays just looking for people to talk to. I'm a c# programmer from Boston. Laid off in March, on a journey of rediscovery. I take escitalopram for severe anxiety.

...See more I'm finding this app confusing to use. Like I joined the 50+ community and today couldn't find it. I only found it again by accident because someone replied to my post. Also I don't want to be an ageist but there's no clear separation between adults and teens and different age groups. On the topic of paying for therapy. I want to make a one time payment and use up the time and then decide if I need it for another week or not. I'm unemployed and broke so I need to micro manage my money.

...See more Hello. On Christmas Day I started crying and I can't seem to stop. It's like I'm so overwhelmed. I don't really know how else to describe it. I think it's panic attacks but feels like depression. My thinking is hopeful and I'm just looking for nice people to talk to.
