A professional would have to diagnose you :)

Yes a professional would have to. Self diagnosis are not 100 percent or recommended. While there are online quizzes and self-report scales that might help you recognize potential symptoms, it's really important to see a trained medical professional for an accurate diagnosis. Only they can conduct a comprehensive evaluation, rule out other conditions, and provide the proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

If you suspect you have ADHD, I encourage you to consult with a healthcare provider. They can guide you through the diagnostic process and offer the support you need.

You're welcome. You should consider finding the patience for it. It could be ADHD, yes, but it could be anything else.  Many of the disorders' symptoms overlap.

Hi niceFarm, welcome to the ADHD sub-community. The best way to know if you have ADHD is to seek a diagnosis from a professional, such as a doctor, psychologist, or psychiatrist. Depending on the country you live in this can be an easy or more involved process. It can also range in cost to get a diagnosis.

There are various tests you can take online but they can vary in accuracy, so I would recommend taking more than one. You can read and learn about the symptoms on ADHD specific websites. Then there are many books written on this topic by various authors you can read or you can listen to podcasts or watch videos on streaming platforms. It takes some time and studying to integrate what information you take in and how it may or may not apply to you. If you look at some of the threads here you will learn things too. Hope this helps get you started!

Hello dear.

Thank you so much for your thread, it's useful for me.

I think i will go to the second one. 😊

you should be aware that second option is not recommended and is harmful to do. You can easily say you have xyz but a professional, even a primary care, can truly sit with you and run tests.
