I remember my time, at the academy as a listener, very well.

I took the Content Development and Marketing course here at 7cups. It was an amazing course.

I had an amazing teacher and I learned a lot from.

Maybe my response to your post belongs on the kindness thread? Maybe on the gratitude thread? I imagine it would work on either. For whatever reason, I feel as if it's more meaningful to share my thoughts with you here. Your thread, your turf! 

I want to thank you for your kindness! You have helped me many times around here on the platform (no bit of kindness is ever lost on me). It's also a gratitude moment from me. I'm really grateful to you and for you!  ❤️  

A couple of years ago, I had mentioned to Glen how impactful your work is around here as our Academy Dean. I could see change in a positive direction with many of our teammates after being a part of the Academy. I was remiss in not telling you that personally! It still bothers me that I didn't tell you how I felt and still feel. I guess one of those "better late than never" moments? 

While I'm not a product of the Academy, your methods work. So many times I have seen a distinct difference in behavior and thought patterns from some of your graduates. It's like the "before" and "after" and it's quite significant. Some come to the platform with great skill sets already as well as with the right approach. Some just need a little bit more time to grow. 

The transformation at times is a thing of beauty to witness. The work you do as well all of the fantastic mentors that you onboard do is so deeply appreciated. It really is quite the "ripple effect". Mindsets change, communication gets easier and people not only acclimate, but they assimilate into our culture here on 7 cups! After going through some of the courses it seems as if many have that Eureka💡moment. 

It's as if we all start "speaking the same language" around here. 😊

Selfishly, It makes my work even easier as a leader here in the community when trying so very hard to connect with and support the efforts of others.
