@EmmaE Great idea! 2021 has been a huge year for me. I got my first professional job but it has able been a tiring year for reasons that I feel are personal to me. I don't really regret anything because everything that happens is a learning moment for me. I am looking forward to 2022.

2021 for me has been terrible in a lot of ways, and it’s also been good at the same time.

2021 has had both good moments and not so good moments, but it's been slowly improving. I'm hoping that 2022 is an easier year, and I'm proud of myself for making it through all of 2021 💙

I got to start school this year with a full scholarship. I'm looking forward to finally being able to accomplish my dreams.

Good - graduated from university, secured internship, may have a job next year.

Better - I am trying to work towards courage in driving again (lots of anxiety), spend more time listening to my body and spending time with the parents.

My year was very tiring and stressful for the most part due to issues with being natural disaster survivor, support person 24/7 for a family members with chronic illness, remote school and a life long friend deciding my past mistakes or errors in judgement could not be overlooked and severed our life time friendship suddenly. This was without warning and I was given zero opportunity to response. Additionally, as life is fragile and we both have our own disabilities and issues even if I wanted time distance and circumstances also were already keeping us apart. And my other last friend also was diagnosed with a chronic life threatening illness. Now for the good and positive, made it through remote school again. Several years of remote school and natural disasters and several near missed with passing over for the relative plus financial woes and other daily hardships, I survived remote school, disabilities, overwhelming responsibilities and hardships. Passed all courses with excellent marks, with assistance, had enough food and shelter. I made time to learn about other people and cultures as well as basic proficiency in several new languages. I was also able volunteer and help others in need a well work on self care and resiliency and strive to be more independent and self-sufficient in 2022. Thank you for the continuing support! Started 2021 in the Hospital with neurological issues related to having Covid. And I am finishing the year with Covid. Yes I am vaccinated. No idea how I got it when I was isolating at home had to be from my husband or son who were no symptomatic. I am sick now because someone was careless and knew they were sick but still talked to me without me know tell we’re sick till after the damage was done. So, good by 2021!!!! Only good thing I got from you was my grandson who I can’t see when he is in town because I am Covid positive!!!!! Dumbest year ever!!! So over it!!!

this past year was stressful but it brought a lot of things into perspective for me. the pandemic taught me that I need to do what makes me happy career wise and to start jumping out of my comfort zone. I ended up getting my permit this year and I am about to start classes again after 5 years post grad!

my mental health was horrible this year. one good thing that happened was that I didn't relapse. I also found healthier ways to cope with my depression and self harm.

in 2022, I hope to remain in recovery from self harm and I hope to finish my prerequisites for nursing school. I hope to start an accelerated nursing program in 2023. I also hope to get my liscense next spring
