  When someone posts a question or topic in a subcommunity,
  can anyone post a reply?
  Or are replies only wanted by members of that subcommunity?
  
  For example,
  if someone posts a generic or icebreaker question
  in the 7 Cups Internship Community,
  can anyone reply,
  or do they have to be an Intern?

Sorry - I think we had a slight misunderstanding!

Even though OCD is classified as an anxiety disorder, we unfortunately do not currently have a forum topic under our Anxiety community for OCD. You are still welcome to discuss this topic here though (and some forum users already have): https://www.7cups.com/forum/anxiety/

On the other hand, the Personality Disorders community can be used to discuss matters relating to OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder) 😊

I'm new to this platform and I posted a thread in 20+ community but I don't know how to view the thread again and see the replies.

Can you help me of how does this work because I don't get any notifications too.

Welcome to the community, @KrazyHeart, thankyou for taking your time in exploring the sub-communities here and that's a good question! 💛

On the web, We receive notifications in threads we've made in the following cases:

♡ Someone made a post in a thread created by us (like this one you mentioned: https://www.7cups.com/forum/20plus/General_2531/Cansomeonehelpme_309249/)

♡ Someone upvoted/ hearted our post (like the post/ comment you made currently in this thread, and you probably got an orange notification when I upvoted it with that little ♡ button)

♡ Someone tagged/ mentioned us in a reply to our thread (like how I tagged you currently, using an "@" sign before your username)

The latter two notifications should come through in any posts/ comments we've made site-wide, while the former only comes if someone posts in our thread or a thread we are subscribed to!

(Not very sure if the app notifications work or how well they do)

You can find your threads when you click on the forum search tool and click on "my threads", similarly you can also find threads you've "subscribed to" if you select the other option! Here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/search/?query=

The notifications come under the "bell icon" next to our profile picture! Did you see there?

In the other thread you created in 20 and over sub community, you didn't receive any notification because there aren't any replies or upvotes in it yet!

But you should've received a tag notification as well as an upvote notification from this one!

Sometimes the notifications can be a little wonky too, however if the same is persistent for you, please submit a tech review request here: https://help.7cups.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360002045893

Have you tried using the web version? Perhaps on your phone? Personally, I find forums more accessible on it!

When looking at the list of my threads, ones I have subscribed to, or looking at the list of threads someone else made, what's the basis for their order?

I have a feeling the list of threads posted by you goes from oldest to most recent at the bottom.

For the subscription, I think it's based off of the date that you subscribed to the thread (so the ones you subscribed to recently are at the bottom of the list).

If anyone else can clarify or correct me feel free!

@tommy If that's how it's supposed to work, it's definitely not. The top handful with thread date and then most recent post date are like this

I have threads that should go back to 2015 and maybe even 2014. So these are no where close to the oldest, but I also have a number from 2023.

Aah sorry Affy you've just sparked my memory. I think they are currently updating or doing some work on the forum main page. Hopefully it resolves itself soon or @Jon7cups can clarify!

Hi I'm Donna,

I have anxiety disorder and depression, due to a lot of stressful situations in my life and health issues everything just took its toll.

It happened so unexpectedly and it's still very new and fresh to me, I'm trying to do everything I can to help myself feel better and back to my old self again.

I really want to make some new friends and meet some new people who may be going through the same or similar situations that I'm going through and I think that I could really benefit and learn from other people
