Introducing Two More Admin Team Members: CuriousKate & WordGirl73!
Hi All!
I am SUPER excited to introduce you to two more 7 Cups admin team members! Please join me in giving them a big 7 Cups welcome!
@CuriousKate - Kate is the Director of Reseach at 7 Cups! She has a Ph.D. in Social Psychology at the University of Texas, where she was also a lecturer in the Texas Advertising program. Even before she got her Ph.D. in social psychology, or was introduced to the art and science of survey from the finest at Nielsen, Kate has always polled friends when faced with a situation. Kate has a specialty in text analysis and social intelligence technologies. Kate has a gaggle of children (4 boys), played ice hockey in college, is an excellent parallel parker, and loves to drink tea. You will see @CuriousKate in 7C Research & Insights Lab forum area. She will post surveys, ask questions and use this space as a way to gain insight and bridge her work with our community.
@WordGirl73 - Shannon (aka WordGirl73) is our new Managing Editor who is in charge of the content you see on www.7cups.com/experts. Previously, she helped those with health conditions write their memoirs. Prior to that, she ran the editorial department at TheBump.com. A fellow mental health warrior, she's passionate about helping people through the power of words. Shannon lives in Los Angeles (where she was born) with her two awesome teen kids (15 and 13), a senior dog named Arthur and a toddler bunny named MoMo. She drinks all the coffee and wears all the beanies. She falls down a lot (literally, she's broken her arm 4 times), but gets up like Wile E. Coyote and keeps on going. You may see Shannon posting in the Help Wanted area looking for writers to contribute to our blog! Check out her recent ask for submissions here.

Happy to have you guys on the team!!!
@Sinceresebas21 highly recommend pursuing it! My advice is to find some research that really excites you. Find a researcher who specializes on that topic or a researcher whose approach you really appreciate and focus, focus, focus. Happy to support you in that pursuit.
@CuriousKate

Very happy to have you both onboard!!

@wordgirl73 welcome! I love how your username reflects your work with words. The writer, poet, and word lover in me is already very excited!
@SoulfullyAButterfly so happy to meet a fellow wordie! I have a special place in my heart for poetry, in particular, the ability to say SO MUCH in such little words. Also lyrics, inspiring quotes. My license plate reads, "so many books, so little time..." :)
@wordgirl73 I agree and adore how poetry can be analyzed in different ways to perceive so many possible perspectives. Your license plate is so inspiring and cool! Time indeed is the factor we always need to consider.
Congrats!
