Congratulations to our new Teen Coordinator and Subcommunity Coordinator!

On January 20th, we announced @Hope will be transitioning into the role of Academy Community Manager. To allow her to focus on supporting this budding program, we decided to split up her areas and onboard one person for each role: Teen and Subcommunity.

We appreciate every single one of you who applied! After carefully reviewing all of the applications, the Community Team has selected our Teen and Subcommunity Coordinators!

Teen Coordinator… @Mimi!

@Mimi has been a listener since 2017. Throughout her time here, she has demonstrated skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. She has experience on and offsite working with adolescents, and having aged up only a few years ago herself, Mimi feels a special kinship with the teen side and will be working diligently on promoting a safer, inclusive, therapeutic environment for teens to interact and seek support. Mimi will be taking over for Hope, providing support and oversight to leaders and projects, tending to safety reports, and being a positive presence in the rooms. We look forward to seeing all the great things Mimi will accomplish in her role to scale up and care for the teen community!

Subcommunity Coordinator… @Tazzie!

Tazzie joined 7 Cups in 2016, and since being promoted to Ambassador in 2018, she has been the driving force behind our Subcommuninities growth. Her passion for her work has been recognized time and time again, and she has become well loved by our community. We are delighted to have her step into this role, where she will play an even bigger part in increasing engagement, spreading awareness, and evolving our Subcommunities.

They will be officially assuming their positions on February 1st! Please join me in congratulating them!
