Trying to adjust my spine not aging well. That and I just turned 62 and was awarded SSDI

I am 62 and so frustrated with my spine hurting 24/7. I am scared of assisted living or an adult home. I am in Utah so winters really suck having Orthopedic problems. I am so lonely and struggle a lot with Anxiety due to my current quality of life alone with no family closer than 1,300 miles away. I am sad to say I am really scared of what my life is going to become. Do I have anything good to look forward to in my miserable life?

@bgdave. Glad to hear that you got SSDI. If you get medical benefits with it that would be something t that could possibly help hopefully.

Hello @bgdave, I am touched by your sharing.

Hi Dave

i am so sorry you are struggling. 🤗

I am 58 and I have been medically retired for 10 years with multiple spine issues that stems from being a preemie I need hardware but not enough bone. I break down what I need to do chores and errands in small amounts of time. I often have flairs that last a while. I know the frustration of chronic pain and frustration.

You are not alone. I am grateful you found 7cups it is a great place. There are many ways to get involved in 7cups and you will find very kind people in this community.

Yes you have lots to offer in your life definitely 💯!!

Very glad you have family. Family and staying connected is a great thing.

Are there any seniors clubs in your area?

Now life's had a very sad event that I had no way to influence or change. I learned my ex passed away and my heart is breaking 💔 all over again.
