How do you clear your mind? 

Whatever’s in my mind that needs to be cleared out, I clear it out through journaling, self conversations, music. 

How are you calming an overactive mind?

I tell myself to be calm and relax, quiet the mind, listen to calming relaxing soft gentle music, journaling helps me relax or calm my overactive mind too. 

So pretty much the same methods for both clearing my mind and calming my overactive mind ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I like brainstorming where I look at a problem I face and write down every possible and impossible idea without editing them. Then at a later time I may organize, edit and choose any ideas that seem plausible. 

@amiablePeace77 Its a very good idea. Automatic writing is also a great tool to figure out whats going on in your head. Start writing and dont stop. Dont pick up the pen from the page. Keep it going as long as you can and no edits. Just see what comes out.

@amiablePeace77 that's a really nice prompt! i think i just clear my mind bykind of analysing every issue in my brain, and if i get too stressed i gotta take deep breaths and always focus on the bigger picture - i know i should try something physical like journalling to brain dump but i do it all internally - probs why its so overwhelming lol
