For me it evolves around things that give my home order like chores π being a domestic goddess I actually enjoy. I love a clean organized house.
Self care I do love music and journalling sometimes more like a bullet journal πβ¦ hells keep me organized. ππ

Mentally Healthy, routine routine routine for me.
I take great comfort with my routines. Wake at this time. Have a cup of coffee, take the dog out to go potty, etc etc.
Emotional, now there is a place I know nothing for myself. It is easy to analyze others but looking in the mirror and say "Hey Barltik, you need to {fill blank}" doesn't happen.

With emotions I try to start small with little things like irritation that can lead to anger or sadness.

oh that is a good one. What do you do? For that would be huge for me.

I am talking to partner and they are refusing to do my what seems to me is a perfectly reasonable request to take their medicine. I see thoughts rising up that usually lead to angry outbursts so I excuse myself and leave the room and come back later and just put the medicine in their bowl and they take it.
Not reacting is the key.

I am not certain it is for the same reasons, but your emotional outlook seems a bit like mine. I rarely even know how I am feeling as I give it no thought. I did find lists of feeling words helpful. There are plenty online. I have gotten through life without sharing feelings and most often not even acknowledging them, so why would I need the words? The lists of feeling words help me to understand the actual feeling I am having so I can accept it, judge it for what it is, deal with it, and change it to another feeling if I need to...such as moving from anger to acceptance by addressing the issue and deciding how to work out a compromise or consensus in hope the same situation won't come up again. Letting others in to know our feelings helps them understand us better and more likely to actually care. We often guess wrong about someone else's mood or thinking.

I appreciate what you are implying. It took me a few times reading it to understand more clearly the picture being conveyed.
And yes you do understand where I am coming from in the sense of never needing to share or understand how I am feeling. Because everything has been rather simple. Some one says "Good Morning" an auto response is "Good Morning" with a smile. And not needing to know 'is it a good morning?' The family's favorite football team lost, auto proper response "This is Horrible!". While in reality I never stopped to think "How do I feel about the football team, game, etc"

"What are some things that you do on a daily basis to stay mentally and emotionally well?" I like to workout at least 5 or 6 times a week. My bike rides and gym time are "me" time. Pop in the earbuds and forget the world around me. (not really, I just like to pretend I do...certain things are always in the back of my mind) I also like to visit 7 cups every day. I used to mindlessly scroll *** reels all the time, way more than I should. I have found that I have replaced that with scrolling and searching the 7 cups forums. While I still do much more reading than actually participating, I feel like it is now part of the routine I use to keep me mentally and emotionally well.

I have found it refreshing to have a non-biased human\rational opinion on {Fill Blank} to be rewarding and insightful.
The negative I have found is, that I can manipulate the conversation (and my therapist) to stay clear of certain areas that rears it's head from time to time. Which is an automated me problem.

What are some things that you do on a daily basis to stay mentally and emotionally well? In the hot weather, I avoid having lots of carbs. They tend to make me sleepy and I over heat and get really hot.

Good to know the effects of food soul! Doing some gentle exercise in the morning is a great way to start the day!
