Hi folks, my name is Dustin. I'm a professional social service worker, and a Telephone Crisis Worker. I have struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts in the past, and have professional experience with them as well as anxiety, sexual assault/abuse/rape and other issues.

I'm not a counsellor or therapist, so although I am trained in basic techniques and can recommend types of therapy I can't practice any techniques with you. If you need a therapist, please see the 7Cups Therapy Reference or google. :)

...See more Hi folks! I found 7Cups from a friend online, in a chatroom about lonely people. Since I'm also lonely (but trained in emotional support) I decided to join as a Listener and help relieve other people's loneliness! Of course I practice good self-care and avoid disclosure, but it's nice to help make people's days better.
