I'm retired from 30 years in law enforcement and after sitting around in my pajamas for a couple of years, I am now working on earning a degree in social work. I volunteer with long term offenders in the CA prison system, intellectually disabled adults, and seniors. I have been rank and file, a supervisor, and a manager. I've been married for 30 years and have 4 good children. I often mess up the first time I try something, but have learned to trust that with time I can usually get it right.
