I'm Cadmium, and I'm a 17 year old boy who has struggled with difficult situations for a long time. I'm gay, and that has never been acceptable where I live, and the numerous situations that I've had to go through have caused me depression, anxiety, and emotional instability that I still occasionally have issues with. I have had recurring issues with a weakened immune system that forced me out of public schooling for some time as well, and I am light sensitive and must stay on a strict schedule to keep my sleep patterns in check.
These times have been difficult, but I'm finding that I'm better than I've ever been. I'm happier, healthier, and more at peace than I every expected I could be when I was younger. Through my trials and my tribulations I've found knowledge that I can use to help others, and that brings me a kind of joy that I can't quite describe. Know that, whatever your situation, I'm here to help you. And no matter how bad it seems now, that cliche that you've heard a million and one times is actually true; it does get better. Like, a lot, actually.
