Bio
What's uppp!? My name is Ashley, and I'm glad you've found me here! I'm an active listener and available most of the time, though if I'm offline, don't hesitate to shoot me a message; I promise I'll get back to you soon! 😎
A few things about me . . .
I love writing stories, cooking, sewing, gardening, photography, investment, video games, and playing instruments (especially the electric guitar!). A few of my favorite things are tea, incense, rabbits, ferrets, indie rock and the color blue! ✌
I'm always glad to talk to anyone, no matter their background or issues they're facing. I'm better at helping with some problems more than others, but I'll never turn someone away unless the subject is s*x*al a*s*ult. I'm not qualified or emotionally able to handle this topic so I'll just refer you to someone who is. ❤
Some information about my life and what I stand for . . .
- I've struggled with both extremes on the scale of eating disorders. I grew up with BED and developed an*r*xia in an attempt to recover from my addiction to food. I know how it feels. I also know how it feels to have a doctor that discredits your progress by saying things that make them seem like they're afraid of the same things you are. I know and I care for every individual that's been beat with the same stick over and over. Because of this, I'm always open to talking about eating disorders, even if you're not ready for recovery yet. I'm proud of you for getting your foot through the door; let's come up with a plan and do this together. ❤
- When I was 13 I was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. I've always been made fun of for my disability, especially being someone who works in customer service and surrounded by some of the most vile people in existence. Being made fun of for something you can't change sucks, but hating yourself for it sucks even more. You're more than your ailment, and don't let ANYONE convince you otherwise. ❤
- I've suffered from major depression almost all my life. After a long, painful journey, I've almost fully escaped the trap of su*c*dal thoughts and s*lf h*rm. I'm on a mission to help others do the same. I know it's impossible to believe now, but it gets better; I promise. ❤
- I'm bis*x*al! I have nothing but love and support for every LGBTQ+ teen, no matter their s*x*ality, gender, kin, etc. You're 100% valid and deserve to love and express yourself just as much as cis/hetero people do! You're perfect for being you! ❤
There's nothing that means more to me than cheering someone up and helping people get through rough patches. I hope to also grow by encouraging others, as sharing good vibes is what keeps me going. ❤
