...See more So, yes, I am proud for being ME, that's a huge accomplishement for me. I have never really accepted myself, because I was bullied at primary school for not being pretty, nor thin as the other girls, and I cried really fastly, which didn't make the whole situation better. I thought it was my fault for being bullied, that I was to blame. I had very low self-esteem, and would rather be alone then be with the few friends I still had... However during secondary school, I've learned that there is so much more to life, and that I am perfect as I am and that I shouldn't change, only because I don't fit in the "social norms". I am happy to be the way I am, I am special, like everybody else. There still are some days where I look at the mirror and think that I am not beautiful. However, then I think to myself, what is actually the definition of being beautiful? Is there actually one? And I don't think there is, it has lots of varieties. Mine is: Beauty comes from the inside What's your definition of beauty?

...See more Hey, I was having a really bad day, and I needed to talk to someone... Didn't want to talk with family or friends about it, so I started googling for a site where people can chat anonymously with another person. So the 7Cups site came up, and I fell in love it, because people are interested in you and reply quite fast. Furthermore, they are trained, so know how to help you. The conversation I had made me feel so much better afterwards, and that was the moment I decided that I also want to bright up other people's lifes. So that's why I became also a listener, and I don't regret it at all!

Aflower was really sweet. They used anecdotes to put me more at ease and to remind me that I wasn't the only one feeling horrible. They were patient and kind and I really appreciated the conversation.
