Anxiety is an emotional disturbance that can have an incredible effect on your ability to control your emotions. Those that often feel like they need to cry may be suffering from the significant emotional changes that anxiety creates but I can tell you this, it's totally ok to cry and let your feelings out, many encourage it..holding back your emotions can take a lot of energy and if you focus all your energy on trying not to cry you will feel the need to dwell on the way you are feeling for longer, which will just end up increasing your stress and anxiety. So next time you feel the need to cry, let it out - it helps. Sometimes it just means we've been strong for too long and we just need that time to ease off a little bit..we're all humans right? So get back up and keep staying strong and amazing the way you are! :)

No, it's not normal...but it's okay. Crying is a natural human reaction to release emotion. While yes, crying isn't a fun experience...it can help you in the long run.

I'd say it's completely normal. Although it's frustrating but you need to cry for a reason, so let it all out! You'll often feel better once you've calmed down.

Crying is a way of getting better. If you continuously cry, you might be going through too much stress and sadness. So take a good moment and let it all out. Then try to work on how to cope with/fix/avoid what's making you so upset.

You know yourself that if you're suddenly prone to constant tears, something isn't right. Something has to be bothering you very badly. If you cannot decipher what that is, you may be suffering from depression without realising. Has something bad affected you lately? Have you undergone one or more stressful events recently? Have you spoken to anyone about it? Seeing a doctor or opening up to a friend or counsellorwould be the first step in discovering what is wrong and how you can develop coping strategies.

That's not an easy question to answer. It highly depends on the circumstances. For example, if you are grieving for losing a loved one recently, then crying is a normal emotional response. But if you are crying for non-severe reasons, or for no reason at all, then I'd recommend talking to someone about it and/or seeking professional help
