Am I too young to know my sexuality? I think I'm bisexual but my mom thinks I'm too young to know for sure and that I won't end up being bi when I'm older.

Perfect therapy for people who need help. I would like to say, I never can imagine it could be possible to heal people like that

There's no right or wrong age to know your sexuality. Some discover it earlier, some need more time. But you're never to young to know - in fact, no one tells straight kids they're too young to know, it's a stereotype that people only apply to non-straight people. Our orientation is nothing more than what we feel we are, so if you feel you're bi, that's who you are, whatever your age is. If later you'll feel different, you can identify with something different, but you should be free to identify with whatever feels like you now. And after all, there's no reason why you should feel different later, you're perfectly capable of understanding who you are now. There's no such things as too young.

I don’t know how old you are, but I know everyone figures out their sexuality at their own time. If you feel comfortable labeling yourself as bisexual, that is completely valid! Don’t feel pressured to label yourself though. It can take some time to figure out your sexuality, and the way you feel can change over time. You could feel like you’re bi now and later find out that you are actually gay (for example). Sexuality is fluid and it’s okay to change your labels over time. That doesn’t make it any less valid! Also remember you don’t necessarily need a label, you have all the time you need to figure out how you feel!

well sexuality is something we are all born with. some of us realise who we are sooner in life and other later. sexuality also is a matter of sheer experiment and although you might have a clear idea as to who you are, your experiences may sometimes have the ability to change them. so keep experimenting ! and after a while and a few experiments, you will be much more confident about who you are and what you identify as :) maybe this is what your mom means when she says you’re too young to know your sexuality. maybe she just wants you to be 100% sure and so she asked you to experiment but in a different way, not phrasing it absolutely blandly.

It’s good to explore your sexuality and find who you are! My mom told me the same thing, but I continued to explore my sexuality and now I know who I am c: just be you! You’re never to young to be yourself ❤️ Love who you love! And if in the end you find out your bi, that’s wonderful! If you find out you’re not, that’s great too! Love is a beautiful thing in all forms and you are 100% valid, no matter your age, in whoever you love! So just be yourself and find who you are on your own time, darling ❤️ No matter what anyone says.

Not at all! I never think you're too young to establish your sexuality! I personally knew from a very young age that I was homosexual and attracted to men. Everyone learns at different points in their life but just stay true to yourself and love yourself and your sexuality is the best advice I can give to you! Try not to listen to other people's opinions on your sexuality because there's always going to be people out there that have negative opinions and connotations regarding the LGBT community but it's just important to remember that nobody knows you or how you're feeling more than you and never be afraid to speak your truth!

No, you deserve to know how you feel whether or not you are young or not. I think I am bi or pan, but for now I am straight. Does liking someone with he/them pronouns make you pan? I am still figuring out my sexuality, and I am young, too. I think that certain things matter when figuring out your sexuality, and yet it's your choice. Whatever age you decide to come out, choose wisely. There is no right or wrong age to decide your sexuality and parents are major influences of the situation. Decide at what age you think works.
