The best way to serve your community is to be an active part of that community. Interact frequently with other members and create and grow together. Help to make the community florish by cultivating a welcoming environment, so that newcomers feel welcomed and with offer what they can in turn. You only get out of a community what you put into it, be it hard work, good ideas, or simply your individualism.

I do not know of a way to do community service online. That is why it is called "Community Service". You have to work in the community with other people and be personally involved.
By putting your services out there. Let people know you care. That you have a listening ear. To show compassion.
You can do it by simply showing your support and care for other people who are experiencing some problems in their life.
A friendly voice told me their name and asked me how I was doing. I wasn’t pressed for any private, identifying details. The phone counselor simply let me talk. I told her I wasn’t suicidal, but I was depressed and was curious what type of support they offered. I have never needed a hotline because of my excellent support network, so I wasn't sure what to say. However, taking the step to reach out to somebody has always improved my mood, so I told the phone counselor that I felt better and hung up. The SPRC didn’t call back. There was no rescue unit outside my door. I simply had a very nice conversation with a supportive phone counselor who was there to help me if I needed it. If I had been suicidal as I have experienced from time to time in the past, I can imagine that having a sincere person to talk to at four in the morning would be a very valuable asset. My support network isn't nocturnal as I am...so there

7CupsofTea is a good place to start helping others. They train you very well and you can interact with the people who need your help and can improve the positive impact you can make on their lives. Another way is to promote your favourite campaigns online through social media

Talk to your administration at school! They probably know about some opportunities. You can volunteer on 7cups that is a kind of community service. You can also raise awareness and pass around petitions. If you get involved with a certain organizations they may need web design help.

Become a listener! You're helping people & it's not for a profit, it's really worth it! It makes a difference in both your life & others lives!
Here at 7CC community service is accomplished by posting feeds, posting in the forums, engaging in group chat, and perhaps most intensely by one on one chats. Additionally, one can purvey the link to this website to others who do not know of its existence.

Signing up to organizations like 7 cups of tia is a great way to do community service online. It can really help you grow, and is a suppourtive way to give back to your community.
Some non profits on http://www.volunteermatch.org/ have websites for certain community services online.
Online community service to me is actively taking a part in another person's life.. That might include listening intently to another person's issues, suggesting ways to cope with a specific issue or providing information as to professional outlets for further guidance.

You can start volunteering on websites to try and help other people just like this website for example.
become a listener on 7 cups or a similiar app! you can help people with issues that you have experience with and really make a difference.
7 cups is a community service. By simply signing up to be a listener, going through some very basic training, and then getting on board with this program - that's all it takes.
Advocate and spread awareness! You can spread the word about causes through social media and fund raise online. You may also be able to do something like be a mentor for someone or help an organization run their webpage. Hope this helps!
