Intense exercise: jumping jacks, pushups, situps, sprint up or down some stairs.

  • Some other ideas might be doing 10 jumping jacks, a 1-minute plank, or 20 sit-ups.
  • Remember, the goal is NOT to work out. The goal is just to have a very engaging distraction for 5-10 minutes to stop the thoughts from spiraling.
