PT: Self Acceptance
Self-acceptance allows one to feel bolder and braver.
Our personality is not like a box but more of clay. You can shape it the way you want to. You can stretch it, mold it and evolve into something different than earlier. Every day, when you work on improving yourself, you become a better version of yourself.
If you step back, pause, and observe, you will realize that you are a completely different person than what you were when you were a kid. You grew up and evolved.
It is true that extroverts tend to gain more attention than introverts but why wouldn’t they? They are charismatic, fun, bright, talented and inspiring people. But gradually the mindset is shifting and introverts also started getting noticed and recognized for who they are.
So do not be afraid to embrace your personality and recognize your strengths and acknowledge who you are. No one is like you!
“One of the great things about the Internet is the easy ability for introverts to find one another, yet without having to actually leave the home. Many are familiar with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), but I would bet many are not. There are several ways to take the personality test for free online, or you can take the official MBTI one, for a fee. Whichever way you go, it's a good way to assess yourself without any value judgments in the results. In this system, introversion or extraversion are not judged good or bad, just the way a person is wired. There are strengths within each type that help them adapt to situations. An observation has been made that the pandemic has been somewhat easier on introverts than on extraverts, at least as far as isolation or being comfortable with being alone.” -- InquireWithin
