Motivating your team ~

Creator: @FrenchToast

It increases speed, quality and productivity. Simple. How can you do it? Here are a few ways:

  • Give them the freedom to make decisions. It is important to show that you trust your team members.
  • Have and set realistic goals and expectations. Asking someone to do 10,000 reviews a day is unrealistic and demotivating and will most likely cause instant burn out. Before setting goals and expectations, think: will I be tired doing this task? If yes, change it! If not, you have a realistic goal or expectation!
  • Recognize team members for their achievements. Even if it’s a small one, endearing words can go a long way! A simple, “That’s awesome! I am so happy for you!” can be exciting to hear.
  • Recognize their progress. Things take time, so be patient and acknowledge that team members are making progress. Everything cannot be instant results and so, appreciating someone for their progress will only encourage them to do better.
